It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The gentleman at the front counter was nice enough. The food tasted alright, but certainly not worth $12+ for a bacon cheeseburger, large fries and a large drink. These places are robbing us. For me, I’m out here from the East Coast vacationing so two days ago it was the In-N-Out, and I’ll probably visit the Jack-in-the-Box before heading home. The In-N-Out beats this restaurant for value hands down.

I never do google reviews but I go to this place a lot and have personally spoke with one of the night managers who is very nice and no hate to to the company or anyone in particular but when it comes to food presentation is always something that you should consider when making and packaging food such as sandwiches. It’s NOT appetizing to see a sandwich that looks like it was slapped together with some old lettuce and soggy buns. I like the food here and customer service is good but when it comes to food it doesn’t look appealing. All and all. I do enjoy the food and the service

I ordered a chicken sandwich with apple juice. The sandwich had soft and moist bread, light mustard, tomatoes lettuce and Monterey cheese. The chicken patty was thick cooked to perfection and juicy. My opinion it seemed like the chicken was huge! Fries were hot with the perfect amount of salt. Apple juice box was cold. Great experience!

I went thru the drive thru today and Gabriel assisted with my order. Honestly, He made my day!! His customer service was hands down the best I’ve ever had with whataburger. His energy was amazing!!
