It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went thru the drive thru and they did not take our order right it was missing one hamburger with it being a fairly large order and getting fixed at window was no big deal but we leave and see they forgot to give us straws and bring in a hurry we had no time to turn back plus the fries box had lil fries that were cold and soggy by the time I got somewhere there was straws my Dr Pepper shake was about entirely melted as was the chocolate shake seeing as we paid $46.14 that was 5% off my measly weekly pay and the only treat we get for the week I was hoping to enjoy it instead of waste it all in all I would not recommend this place if you do go make sure to check the bag and the fries

Went to whataburger around 2:30am and the wait was quite long even though there was only 1 car ahead of me. Anyway, I have been having an issue with the food whataburger serves. It’s always cold in under 5 minutes, and I don’t understand if it’s the packaging or what but the food is not very good when it’s cold. So I ate mine right away in the parking lot right out of the drive thru exit. Its was better than cold that’s for sure.

This location is a set above the others. I went a night, and there was a bit of a wait. That said, the quality of food and staff made it well worth it. Food came out hot, and the staff was quite friendly. Cannot recommend the double hatch enough.

Service is always horrible. They don’t plan anything at all. Someone orders coffee, they put on a pot and wait. The entire restaurant will be full of people waiting on food while the drive through just keeps rolling. I’ve been here a few times and it makes me ready for another whataburger to open in the area. Then I could go to the good one.

I love the food anywhere I go, but at this location they just don’t care enough. I ordered through the app, walked in at the time it would be ready and they didn’t even start it until I walked in. No other customers were in sight. When I asked what the holdup was, the Store Manager replied thats just how it goes. Then the district manager comes out of the office and asks the manager a question about money bags which then holds up the operation more. Nothing but terrible management here. I suggest anyone go to the next closest location.
