Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This has to be the best example of how to go out of business. Cold food, wrong food, no service, and all the employees stand around on their phone doing nothing!! This has to be the best example to date – supposed to have just ketchup and plain as the stickers on the wrapper state – but look at the burger I was given. When we took it back, the manager, Bella said sorry, you ordered online so we cannot replace or refund it. WOW!!!!

First visit: still only the drive-thru was open. (Dining area & curbside will open soon.) The line moved quickly and, since I was in the outside lane, a person was waiting to take my payment. The same person brought the order out when it was ready. It all took about 5 minutes.

Did a mobile order and the food was nasty. Old fries that appear to be reheated in the oil, they are greasy and taste old. The burgers were falling apart. Called to store to have it remade and it was the same. I would recommend going to a different restaurant.

Stopped in for breakfast while a loved one was having surgery across the street. Only had a BOB one of my all-time favorites! Breakfast on a bun with bacon and the perfectly golden hash brown sticks.

Would have done 4⭐ but they get the extra since they just opened and definitely still need to work out some kinks which is to be expected. The dining room is still closed which was a bummer. The 2nd drive through line thing they are doing is kinda messy as the 1st line was buzzing through while we and other’s just sat for awhile, also you could barely hear the speaker. They forgot the fruit snacks on my son’s, kids meal combo. Asked for sauce and got 1 for $40 worth of food.

We went there today for the first time, since we noticed you can sit in the lobby to eat. I got the Whataburger Jr with cheese, not to bad, a little to much mustard and dripping with grease, otherwise good. My fries, some seemed old and others seemed fresh. My husband got a free whataburger ( had a coupon)with fries and drink, his also had to much mustard, but he stated it was good. The inside looks very nice with the decor they have and staff are very friendly

Slowest What-a-burger I’ve ever been to. On more than one occasion, it has taken more than 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, and it has twice taken more than 20 minutes for an order to reach my table even with very few people in the dining room. Food is fine once it gets there. Restaurant is clean, but the staff is inattentive.

Got a vanilla shake and found several hairs in the shake that i got… (more than the photo) The workers looked really “high” too. I didn’t even see the hairs till i took the lid off this place is brand new and already disappointed.
