It was so stinkin good. The fried pickles and REAL RANCH were so good! I ordered chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and they were awesome!! Also the white queso was sooo good. We will be back for sure!

I’ve eaten here three times and it has been great every time. I can recommend the burgers and the nachos. The nachos may be the best TexMex in Camden. Highly recommended. Note on the picture, I asked for no tomatoes.

Stopped for lunch. Had a burger with fried jalapeños on it. It was good size, only was able to eat about half of it for lunch. The dining area is pretty spread out so you aren’t right on top of the table next to you. The staff were all super nice. Will absolutely go back.

I took my fiance here to try it out, it had been years since Ive been in What’s cookin and it was his first time. The cheese dip was so much worse than I remember, we hardly touched it because of the bland, almost old taste.

Food used to be so much more tasty. It is like they changed the chicken marinade. Not as flavorful as it used to be. Other than that it was fine.

The atmosphere at What’s Cooking is wonderful – has the look and vibe of something I’d expect to find in some of the upper middle class restaurant/shopping districts of Dallas, Fort Worth, Memphis, etc. (‘Whoever designed your interior did a fantastic job. My only concern: you might have overshot your market a bit.) The menu offers plenty of delicious options at reasonable prices for the local economy. Service is fast – but not rushed, knowledgeable, very friendly, and attentive. Our waitress was great. If Camden’s overall attitude toward making itself into a truly great, prosperous, family-oriented place to live with plenty to do and a good standard of living was as good as What’s Cooking’s is toward its patrons and how it conducts business, Camden would be on its way into the stratosphere. I’m a former marketing professor (Colo State U) and consultant to many small businesses and other organizations, so I have cast a close, comprehensive, critical eye at many restaurants, making me quite picky. I am extremely impressed with this gem of a restaurant! What’s Cooking definitely has the right recipe for Camden’s as well as its own success. We will eat at WC frequently! – J. Cook

The one star is for the wonderful server we had at What’s Cookin’. That was the only good part of the meal. The haystack onion rings were a soggy greasy mess. The chicken fried steaks were tougher than beef jerky and the mashed potatoes and gravy were cold. The taco meat was bland and had no lettuce or tomato on it. I’m pretty sure the grease was old because everyone in my party got sick. This was our first time eating here. We had high hopes because of all the good reviews. I’ll definitely think twice before going back.

We’ve been eating at What’s Cookin’ in Camden for years. Most recently, we had a small (Going Away) office party at this eatery. The facilities were clean, the people were great, and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back!

I can’t seem to order anything but the chicken and cheese quesadillas. The white cheese dip and salsa are really good. You can count on this place to be reasonably priced and quick service. The packaging for take-out orders is put together well. This restaurant is located in downtown Camden.
