Decent for Fullerton. 22.00 for soup and 6 gyoza. Was shareable. Ramen Izakaya in North Hollywood has been the best broth so far in So Cal.

I’m a firm believer in the power of comfort food and What’s Up, with its bustling yet homey atmosphere, captures the essence of this beautifully. My partner and I managed to snag a couple of seats at the bar. Despite the high energy and numerous patrons, the staff were nothing short of attentive and efficient.

This restaurant is fantastic. Even though the interior is tiny, and the tables are packed together, the place seems to be cozy. The menu looks very nice, and there are a lot of options. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Sticks are wrapped in custom paper, and they also have custom plates. Everything is brought momentarily, and the portions are manageable. The tea was great. Both soups were delicious. Teriyaki chicken was fabulous. Curry was pretty spicy, but it has to be, so we enjoyed it. A type of place where five stars are more than deserved. Without a doubt a to-go place in Fullerton.

Amazing food! Loved the broth on my noodles. Servers were super distracted with friends they were helping so i never received my Hot Sake. Waited a while for my check, once again busy with there friends, but the food was awesome!

My first time having Ramen and I liked it. I don’t have anything to compare it to because it was my first time. I thought it was good on a cold night. The appetizers were good too. Place is very small and kind of dirty. The service was not so good.

Good ramen spot. Inside there’s only a few tables. Got the spicy miso. I liked it. Decent portion. Also tried the gyoza and takoyaki and they were good. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot.

Really one of the best! It was my 3rd time here and it was even better than the other times. We’ve been traveling in Socal for the last month with family that’s visiting, eating at all sorts of high end restaurants and Whats Up is easily the top of the best. Prices haven’t been raised like most spots and the staff is all smiles and accommodating. You feel good after eating here, from the classic to the vegan! Evem the curry was amazing.

I found this little gem today as my wife and I were out. Without a doubt, this place did not disappoint! I say this – do not let the external shell of the exterior of the establishment make you miss a true Japanese food experience. I have lived in Japan off and on for over 8 years and the taste and overall presentation of the food brought my mind back to my favorite times overseas. I highly recommend! I know I will be returning.

The food is great, but the low marks for service and atmosphere are due the interruption of an employee being yelled at in front of us patrons. I find it completely disrespectful and unprofessional to reprimand and yell at a fellow employee in front of diners. It really put us in shock to witness something so unnecessary.
