I recommend this place to anyone looking for lunch. The atmosphere is very old fashioned and cool. The food had no complaints at my table. Our waitress was a bit tired in the beginning and was quiet, but towards the end she pepped up. The pasta is really good. The BLT sandwich and salad are great too. Nothing incredible stood out, (as i’m giving it 4/5) but there’s also nothing wrong. It’s a great structure restaurant and it has great, solid foods. The people working there were nice as well. I recommend all the foods I took pictures of…and probably more. Thanks!

Hello from Stowe – Lex & J.T.
We love the Whip! It’s one of our go-to spots for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. The staff is excellent, the food is delicious and the ambiance is warm. After dinner, it’s lovely to walk through town before heading home. Definitely recommend making reservations, but you’ll likely be able to get a spot at the bar even if the dining room is full.

We were very lucky to have been able to get a table without a reservation. We were there on a Saturday in July. I’d recommend reserving if in Stowe in peak season. Food was incredible, and service was wonderful. Will most definitely return when we revisit the area.

Excellent restaurants. This venue represents Stowe very well. Nestled in the main part of town among small shops, the Christmas card winter feeling was in full effect as it snowed for days preceding our dinner. The Inn, itself feels antiquated and conveys the sense of the past with lighting and decor. The hall leading into restaurants is adorned with photos from the past.

Came here to celebrate a one year anniversary with my partner! Our waiter was awesome and so funny (and queer friendly!) The food was excellent and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I’m a local and recommend this place to anyone hanging in the 802 for a bit!

What an amazing place! The atmosphere was wonderful! The food was delicious and the service was awesome! This is a historical restaurant/hotel it even has a ghost story of a woman who dances in the hall. Very interesting!
