Went here today with my dad for brunch. We ordered the salmon and grits with eggs. The food came out hot and delicious!! Sunday brunch is from 11:30am to 4pm.. plenty of parking and came in right at 11:30!! Seated and waited on very fast. Definitely check them out for brunch!! Alot of great dishes to choose from.

I love the Live DJ, the Smoked Chicken, the Catfish Nuggets with Tator Tots, and the Crown Apple Margarita that Ms. Rhonda always makes to perfection. It’s always a fun time to go on Wednesdays to enjoy FREE TX Holdem with the Interstate Poker Club and there’s a pool table to play on when your not eating, dancing, or pokering. I ❤️ this place!

I happened to be in the area paying a bill and decided I’d stop since I had been craving brisket for some time now. At that I can say is wow. I’ve never had brisket that was as tough and chewy as it was today. I ordered the 1/2lb brisket dinner with potato salad and collard greens. I asked for the brisket to be cut with lots of fat on it but there was very little. On a scale of 1-10, the greens were maybe a 6 and potato salad was about 7.5. The brisket? Definite 0. Just wow.

It’s a nice place to relax but not a good place to waiting too long to do bother order food and bring food. They need hiring more people. This is a ghetto restaurant. If you want to ppl to come and support you then do your job. I waiting almost 1 and half hours. Until you do better I will come again. Management need to have meetings with everyone on how they need to dress professionally.

I really wanted to continue to support this black owned business and I often times take bad service as sometimes just being a one off so I try to visit again but the kitchen and bar non communication in this place is horrific! Food timings are all over the place and the bar doesn’t appear to know anything about what’s being ordered out of the kitchen although they make first contact with the customer! On 2 occasions I called in placed to go orders waited the appropriate time and they weren’t ready I was forced two wait 40 additional minutes for food and it wasn’t as if the place was packed nor was it just opening because it was 3pm! Y’all got to get organized because a customers time is important.

Over all I really had a great time, our waitress Lucy was awesome, every bar and restaurant needs a Lucy she kept coming to our table to see if we were good. I came on a Friday Night I loved that it was a older crowd. I reserved a table, for 7pm, but I was running behind, I called and spoke with Deborah and she was very nice and said I was good. The band was awesome. The reason I gave 4 stars is because my wing were over cooked, but I will be definitely coming back.

I must say me and my soon to be husband has been several times and it never failed us. We even brung family from Florida and Alabama and they can hardly wait for September to get back. They ENJOYED themselves. AS WE SHOULD &THAT’S WHAT WE DO!!!
