This is one of the friendliest places I’ve been. We racked up quite a bar tab and the owner is such a nice guy he said he felt bad for me paying that much. Needless to say we tipped well.

Food was not great, I order steak and baked potato. Wife had boneless buffalo wings she wasn’t crazy about them and she eats a good but of wings. Staff was excellent. Wasn’t busy so maybe it was a off night. Was my first time there think it was my last time also.

We were staying at a nearby campground and decided to go here based on it being close by and not much of a drive. Glad we made the decision! Employees are super courteous and went out of their way to provide excellent service, atmosphere was great(we had kids with us and had nothing to worry about even though this is considered a bar) and the place is pretty cozy. Loved it so much we went back the next night!

Hannah was a great bartender/server! A bit off the beaten path but worth the visit. Everyone was very friendly and the Delmonico steak was delicious and large enough for my husband and me to share. We will definitely return if we’re in the area.

had a really bad experience here. Whiskey River Grill is a 1 star with bad food and Hillbilly Elegy like service. These people are awful and filled with really incompetent actors. I would not recommend that truckers come here. They are AWFUL!

NOT IMPRESSED! It was very loud, lots of college aged kids there and poor service but, the food was pretty good. We weren’t even greeted when we walked in and the server walked by us twice and still didn’t make contact. Then, we had to notify the bartender that we hadn’t been waited on for like 20 minutes and, even tho, the server walked by twice; she acted like she didn’t know we was there.

Was there once before and the service and food was great, even after waiting about 20 minutes to get in. BUT went there this past Saturday night, and after being seated for more than 20 minutes, no server even asked for our drink order, much less for our food order. I could understand if the place was packed, but there was only 3 parties, including us. One party of about 3 people, us (a party of 5), and a party of about 12-13. All attention was given to the big party. There was 2 servers that I seen, and 1 behind the bar. Seems like we could have, at least, got something to drink. Walked out and went to McDonald’s, instead. Probably will go back, but not a happy camper…

Whiskey River Grill was great! Staff was super friendly and suggested lots of places to go for sightseeing. Food was really good and crab cakes are made by a Marylander so order them. They have some local beer that was really good as well. We would go back again.
