First time here was great. It’s cash only btw. Servers are super nice and it’s real good, fresh BBQ. Big servings and excellent prices. The bake beans are great.

My rating is skewed by the fact that I’m not as big of a fan of western NC bbq style.

I’m from Wisconsin and a friend recommended having the BBQ and what a great decision that was!!! Great food and even better service and all at a great price!! They even gave us some complimentary onion rings to try that were delicious!! Highly recommended!!!

Pork had zero barbecue flavor. Tasted like oven cooked unseasoned pork roast.

A true classic eastern NC bbq joint. Good food and good people all around

Food is always good but the fries are always under cooked. Floppy fries- NOT GOOD! Service is spot on. Nice waitresses.

Excellent traditional finely chopped North Carolina pork BBQ. Friendly staff. The red coleslaw is also a treat. Check it out if you’re in the neighborhood. Pancake battered onion rings are also a must.

This used to be one of the best BBQ restaurants around but the quality of food has gone down some. The BBQ sandwich was dry even with extra slaw. Great sweet tea and real French fries. Still a decent place to eat
