Well, I’ve been waiting for the new White Castle to open and I was underwhelmed. First the drive thru was blocked off by cones so you couldn’t get near the windows. The server had to come out to get your money, go back in, then bring the change and food. Slow. Then I discovered the sauce was missing from my Marinara cheese sticks and no napkins.

I waited for the hype to die down before trying the new version of our beloved local White Castle. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The person working the counter was not friendly. My father is a senior citizen. When my father went to give her a card to pay for it, she said “You can do it yourself” in a rude tone and pointed to the machine. To understand how long the history goes back with this particular restaurant, my grandfather worked at the old one in the 40’s. We know what an original slider should taste like. The sliders were dry, the buns had a crisp texture, and minimal onions. They were pretty much tasteless. I don’t know if it’s because the cooking surface is new and therefore not seasoned, but the sliders lacked character. I should of known something was wrong when my car didn’t reek of that familiar slider aroma on the way home and I didn’t have gas the next day. Oh well, the restaurant looks nice. Hopefully if enough people check them on this, we can have the best of both worlds, delicious sliders, a nice place to eat them and farts that can clear a room.

The other day I was in White Castle as I do. The front cashier was amazing she welcomed me with a smile on her face.. greeted me and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. She told me about the specials that we’re going on because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I don’t remember the girl’s name I think it was something started with Alexander or something. She also thanked me for bringing business. Also the lobby was very clean. It’s so nice to come to a fast food restaurant that has knowledgeable and upbeat employees. You will be seeing me here way more often.

This New White Castle is Garbage. Went through drive through its automated, pull up they have a person out there now, okay paid and waited for almost 10min. I ordered 10 sliders with chicken rings, fries get home which isn’t a long ride to barely warm food. Sliders looked and tasted like they were sitting there for some time same with the chick rings. If anyone has to wait that long the food should be hot and fresh, should’ve never demolished the old building the food was way better from there.

The oldest operating and last porcelain clad White Castle in the system has closed. The new location just to the north is now open. It was hard to work in such a cramped space. Manager and most employees are super friendly. Food is well, White Castle. Some good, some not so good.

Food was hot and fresh…. they give you what you ask for as far as condiments without an attitude … AWESOME… I’ve never seen a drive thru window open up like a door… that was pretty cool as well… and the lady that collects the money and the other guy that gives you your food are very pleasant…I never really have a great experience at most white castle’s so I really enjoyed this one and had to wipe a review

This was the first time I visited an automated White Castle. My entire order was taken by the machine at the drive through. It took the order efficiently and accurately. Service was prompt and the young lady passing food was very pleasant.
