AMAZING food and EXCELLENT service! I had the pork tenderloin sandwich with sweet potato fries and the most amazing sauce….not sure what it was made of but it was HEAVENLY!!! Then the waitress/owner said that all of our meals came with an ice cream and she brought us all a sizeable dish of either chocolate, vanilla, or swirl ice cream and it was SOOOOO good! They also have like 85 (or close) different milkshake flavors. I cannot wait to go back sometime soon!

This place is awesome! The French fries are the best I have ever had. Everything that can be made by hand is made by hand. The breaded tenderloin is amazing. My wife really enjoyed the grilled ham and cheese. Our meal even included homemade soft serve ice ream. The orders are placed at the counter and still written on paper. The service was the best! Very humble and happy couple that run the place. Feels like going to the grandparents for top notch home cooking. We will be back many, many more times! What a remarkable find. Only seats 18 with a million dollar view through windows everywhere. Just amazing.

If you like family-owned restaurants in small, charming towns, this is a must-try location about an hour from Fort Wayne. Prices are very reasonable, especially since all meals come with soft serve ice cream included in the price. Make sure to get the French fries as a side. They are exceptional!

Got my order to go because it was 30 minutes before closing time. One of the best fish sandwiches I’ve ever had. The homemade tartar sauce was outstanding and the apple dumplings were great. I got the fish sandwich, fries and two apple dumplings for $13 and some change. A very reasonable price. I’m a truck driver so I usually end up spending the same amount for lower quality food. I would recommend The White Cottage to every one and I would make a special trip just to eat there.

Pretty cool restaurant. I got cheeseburger a fries. Easily top 3 favorite sandwiches. I thought it was pretty good. The fries were probably the best. Wait wasn’t too long, maybe 10-20 minutes. Not much else to say.

A cute little Ma & Pa restaurant. They are retiring, and the business is for sale. The menu is small, but the food is delicious, and everyone gets a dish of soft-serve ice cream for dessert. They also sell fresh baked cookies!!

So they don’t have the fanciest dining room, and the food isn’t Instagram-pretty, but it tasted yummy, the fries were surprisingly great, and the two people working there were as friendly as can be. When we were about done, one of them came over to our table and offered us free ice cream!

This was a terrific stop after spending time with friends at Pine Lake. The jumbo pork loin sandwich was massive, the chicken tenders lightly coated, the hushpuppies wonderfully crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The fries and coleslaw were on point, but make sure to leave room, what’s not disclosed is that you get a dish of ice cream with your meal. We were deliciously stuffed.

Great food, very clean, free dish of ice cream following meal was a nice touch since prices kinda high. However, most restaurants are pricey these days. My mom and I shared the tenderloin and we purchased an extra order of fries. I would hve given a five had it not been for the issue with getting a water cup with a lid for our 2 year old niece. The lady said, this is our water cup (which had no lid), we had to basically state we were not going to still pop from the self serve drink station. We just wanted a cup with a lid for a toddler. She also seemed in a hurry to take our order but we had never been there before. Ever so slight rudeness on the older lady’s part. Small establishment, but I would go back. We spent $19 for the large tenderloin that came with a side, plus an extra side. No beverages were purchased.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was great and the service was quick. They even give you a free scoop of ice cream after our meal. Well worth checking out.
