Won’t ever return to this place. Cashier put down the garbage can she was filling and without washing her hands took my order and said “cash or card”. Never did she say we are going to charge you 3% more for using a card. While my chicken was in the deep fryer a guy was spraying a high pressure hose to clean the kitchen floor. The floor spray splashed right up into the fryer where my food was cooking and he quickly lifted the baskets out of the oil because the floor hose spray was causing havoc with the hot oil. Meanwhile the cashier who had been working garbage duty and who had not washed her hands went over to work with the food at the deep fryers.

Simple less battered fried chicken compared to other chicken place. Chicken are always freshly made along with little corn fritters that I can’t help myself to dig in the bag the moment I get into my car. This place is small and for pick up only no tables to dine in. They also open for 4 hours during the weekday closed on Monday but as a note the restaurant closes at 8 pm. Aside from chicken they have also offered beer battered fried cod fish and fried shrimp, mashed potatoes and fries. You can order for catering but you need to call the restaurant ahead if you’re ordering 50 pcs or more . They don’t do delivery no curbside pick up and no drive thru.

Been a fan of White Fence Farm restaurant for over 30 years. Great fried chicken, fritters, potatoes (mashed & fried), and Cole slaw. Can freeze fries and fritters. Then reheat in oven. Go to Romeoville less frequently in recent years. But can pick-up at carryout stores like this one in Downers Grove.

Fabulous chicken – great coleslaw. Even the mashed potatoes and gravy were unique. A 4-Piece dinner was $8.50. The chicken pieces weren’t particularly big but they had a lovely crispy outside and we’re perfectly cooked. It definitely looks like a dive but has great food
