My mother and I are staying at an AirBNB near by and the Hostess told us this place was great. It’s within walking distance so we took the stroll, and we were not disappointed. It certainly gets busy, it’s a small place, but very delicious, clean and the staff was friendly. Definitely thankful we went.

Clean restaurant very quaint. My order was messed up when received; but, they tried to fix it right away. I ordered fried shrimp, mashed potatoes with gravy and a side salad. I got fried shrimp but they had yum yum sauce all over them, not what I ordered. They took my plate away and brought me back new shrimp, which were not drained properly after coming out of the fryer so the were swimming in oil. They gave me back the same mashed potatoes and gravy so they were cold. Needless to say I did not eat any of it.

I love this place the soups are amazing. You will not find a better crab bisque it is the best ever. Everything is homemade, daily specials, excellent desserts, homemade pies, you will love this place it is what you have been looking for… my only regret is that I did not get the homemade cheesecake slice covered with peaches.

So much for a local place… We arrived during breakfast time with a party of 6. When asking to put 2 tables together to accommodate, the waitress refused staying that they couldn’t make it to the back tables – however, looking at the last out, this didn’t make sense. There was clearly multiple paths to do so and, based on her comments, she obviously didn’t want to seat a large table. We decided to separate our group instead of going elsewhere. My sister let our waitress know that we would take the 2 tables separately but she cwas snapped at by the server telling her that they weren’t moving them together. We already understood this but the servers attitude was horrible.
