Chippewa Retreat Resort Pool will open to the public starting June 15th, 2023. Pool will be open 9am to 5pm Mon – Fri. Closed Saturday & Sunday. A daily Pool Pass is $10 per person and Children Under 6 are free. We do not provide towels, so bring your own. No one under 18 allowed without someone 18 and older to supervise.

We tried White Oak Grill tonight and were not disappointed. Seating was limited due to an upcoming wedding, however, we got a table in the bar area right after they opened at 5pm. It is beautiful inside and much nicer than any Northwoods restaurant/bar I’ve been to. Outdoor seating on a nice paver patio is also available. Tim was our server and he was friendly and very attentive. We started with the white cheddar cheese curds which were outstanding. For dinner I had the Haddock fish fry and it was awesome. It came with baked potato, beans with bacon, cole slaw, rye bread and 4 perfectly cooked pieces of fish ($20). The homemade tartar sauce is some of the best I have ever had! My wife had the 3 steak tacos ($12) which she said were excellent. My kids had the spaghetti ($5) which came with a huge piece of garlic toast. They said it was great. Overall it was a great Northwoods find and will definitely be back!

A wonderful meal! Not a lot of tables here as it is used mostly I think as a wedding venue, nice bar area with 4 tables and they quickly set up our table of eight. Our party enjoyed the fish fry(every Wed-Fri), some with broiled haddock, some with fried(light breading) and a grilled shrimp entree. All were excellent, with delicious sides. Friendly staff! Would come back again!

Our family has dined at White Oak a number of times this year, Fish Frys are excellent(and available any day they are open!) and steaks were fantastic. The app makes it so easy to order and set your time to dine or pick up. The app also sends you discounts for future dining from time to time. Prices are very reasonable and you wont fine a more comfortable atmosphere in the area.

My friends and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at White Oak Grill. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful and nicely prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner donated complete meals including 2 drinks and bottle of wine to local fundraisers. My friends and I were lucky winners. Excellent way to support our community. We will be back!

Out snowmobiling Saturday we stopped in for lunch, immediate impression was wow, fancy, 5*, can we be in here? Lol. Answer is yes, good food, good bloody’s, good service and conversation with Mike, amazing atmosphere, warm natural fireplaces and we were made to feel right at home, only one other table being served so no waiting, being packed shoulder to shoulder or fighting to find parking, def worth stopping in if you’re passing by, we will visit again.

Visited on 1/14/23. Great atmosphere with reasonable prices, our order consisted of steaks, fish, pizza and everything was great. Service was excellent as well! Going out to dinner on a Sat night in MW without reservations usually comes with a wait however our group of five (3 adults, 2 kids) were sat right away. MW is our second home & after seeing the billboard from rt.51 on our way up we remembered to check it out. We will be back!
