We went here on a Tuesday night around 7:30. The parking lot was packed and it took a while to find a spot to park. As soon as we walked in, we realized it was trivia night. We stood at the door for about 10 minutes until one of the wait staff saw us and said they would be with us momentarily. About 5 min later, we were seated at a table for two in between the dining room and bar area. However, the speaker to the event going on was directly behind us making it hard to hear one another. We asked to be moved to a booth which wasn’t a problem. Once we got to the booth we waited another 10 min or so before getting our drink order in. The waitress was nice and we understood they were all very busy. Eventually we got our food which was great! We will be back but most likely not on a Tuesday again

I have to give this restaurant 5 stars! The food was exceptional served by a pleasant staff in a quickly. Prices were reasonable..there were four of us and we had no complaints! Will definitely visit again.

NOTE: They don’t have A1 steak sauce and this is a “steakhouse”. Anyways. Food is a bit bland… I should have known when I walked in and noticed the average customer was probably 70yo. Prices are high. Great Caesar salad and nice thick disposable napkins. FYI, the beverage glasses/cups are small so you’ll be asking for refills frequently and the wait staff seems to forget to get your refill. Since I used to work in restaurants, this is my pet peeve(keep those glasses full). I ordered the 12oz NY Strip($30) but I’m almost positive it was chuck roast cut to appear like a NY Strip It was tough with very little flavor. The fries are like the new KFC fries and was a child size portion. Same small portion for the green beans. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly and I didn’t see the wait staff smile a single time. The desserts are thaw-n-serve but taste decent. I wanted to like this place but left disappointed.

Service was awful. Waited about 2 hours for the dinner to even get to the table. The orders had all messed up side dishes, one order was completely incorrect, and my pasta had hair in it. Also, the server took almost 15 minutes to deliver the other half of the orders to the table. Save your money, don’t go there, it’s an appetizer only kind of place, mainly because that’s the only thing they could do right. Hell, they served everyone else their drinks except for me. All I ordered was a ginger ale. How hard is it to forget that? Everyone was stuck without a drink for a little while, which is when I figured out that it was going to be a long time. Waste of time and money.

If you’re looking to experience the wait time of baggage claim at Newark airport and have the absolute honor of Joe Biden himself cook your food then this is the spot for you! Beautiful atmosphere, great drinks (but make sure you order 3 at a time to avoid withdrawal between your second drink). French fries were on point.

Found this place several years ago “by accident”. We were out for a ride, got hungry, happened upon White Owl and there were cars in the parking lot! Great first experience (food AND service). We’ve been back (intentionally) several times now, and each is at least as good as the last. Most recently was for Mothers Day. Make sure that you have reservations whenever you go!

This was our first visit , on Valentine’s Day to the White Owl Steakhouse. The menu was thoughtfully plan. The food creatively presented. The meal was absolutely delicious! The staff was courteous & professional.

Just went there tonight for late Christmas gift celebration. My husband had great clam chowder and a king cut prime rib, he said the meal was incredible he ate every morsel. Our friend also had prime rib, roasted vegetables, french onion soup and double stuffed potato. She was also thrilled with her choice.. Yes it’s a steak house, but I chose the haddock, roasted vegetables and double stuffed potato. Well all I can say was that every bite was better than the last. I do not often get a appetizer tonight I tried their famous Ruben egg roll with thousand island dipping sauce. Wow highly recommend it. My friend and I also had dessert. She had the lemon Italian creme layer cake. She said it was ok. I had a salted caramel triple layer crunch cake. If they have it get it. So delectable. Will be going to this restaurant again

When at a steak house, you order steak! We had the 12 oz. Rib eye. It was done perfectly and was delicious. Service was excellent and prices were really reasonable. It is an old establishment, we dressed casual. I would definitely go back.
