Absolutely loved this quirky little place. We are road tripping through the state and found this place on google maps. We were looking for somewhere with good meat and vegetarian options and this place has lots of great options. Plus, we could sit outside with the dog. We all really enjoyed the food. My family loved the Mac and cheese and pimento cheese and crackers. The tofu salad was great. Also ordered was the BBQ pork sandwich, smoked chicken sandwich, portobello burger and the bacon cheeseburger. All really good eats! The service was awesome. So friendly and accommodating. Totally recommend this place and it is a shame we probably won’t be back. Go!

Maybe came at an off time/day but was not impressed. Max and cheese had very little flavor and very dry. Burger also lacked flavor and was only saved by ketchup. The pulled pork sandwich was good, but definitely lacked smoky flavor, but sauce and cheese was good. Didn’t have too high of hopes for the Side salad to start with, but wanted some vegetables, so decided to get it too…would not recommend. Had to ask separately for dressing and what we received seemed like plain oil, no vinegar in the vinaigrette…. Probably won’t come back even though it was highly recommended by friends and other reviews.

I am an older newcomer to this area coming from the coastal region in GA. I haven’t been here quiet a year yet, but enjoying the new discoveries that I find daily especially, eating my way across Athens. I found the best fish sandwich that I have ever eaten at the White Tiger. It’s a 5 ⭐️! The atmosphere is very unique. I definitely will be back and will be bringing family and friends.

I finally stop by this place for the first time to give it a try, I always pass by when I go to my juice spot . I had read some reviews , so the ones that really stuck out to me was the salmon sandwich because I love salmon. I ordered the seared salmon sandwich and a side of mac and cheese,plus a banana pudding,this is the best salmon sandwich I’ve ever had omg,been back 3 times already lol,as for the mac and cheese not a big fan of, it lack flavor. The banana pudding is so delicious !! So the sandwich and pudding my two favorite so far. I also like the old store vibe, it reminds me of the ones we used to go too when I was a kid. I will definitely be a regular at this place going forward!!

My husband and I tried this place last night. I wasn’t sure given the reviews, which seem mixed prior to the last year. We got the Tofu Q Sandwich, Vegetarian Ciabatta, and mac and cheese. We are sooo glad we went! Everything was delicious, but the Tofu Q alone is worth the trip out there. We really appreciated all the veggie options.

Personal favorite BBQ restaurant in Athens. This off the beaten path, restaurant has great food and the building itself has wonderful history as an old grocery store with the deli cabinets repurposed into tshirt displays. They also offer catering and the street always smells of deliciously smoked BBQ.
