It looks like the White Box II replaced the Gold’n Crisp Fried Chicken restaurant that was previously here in 2019. If you watched The Texas Bucket List like myself don’t be too disappointed that the restaurant has changed owner but there still great food to be had here. You can request spicy chicken for a extra dollar and it was worth the price.

Yummo!!!! This is the cutest little chicken place I ever saw! The chicken is freshly made to order and the fries are SO good! Hot and crispy. We got the chicken sandwiches, definitely recommend! The veggies on it were very crisp and fresh! My son got the kids meal and loved it. If we pass by here again, we will stop! I’ve heard the burgers are great!

Hamburger was bloody in the middle, chicken tasted like plastic as well as okra and fries. Service was great. Extremely disappointed. Was told how good their food was and first time I’ve been there with a friend who had been there before and she was thoroughly disgusted. We both were throwing up and sick for days. Still trying to recover. Will NEVER be back.

Food was good and was cooked fresh to order. The staff were very friendly and professional. Overall I would say that we liked the burger more than the chicken, but both were tasty. Enjoyed sitting outside at their picnic tables to enjoy our food, except for the train that came by. I would definitely go back.

Absolutely amazing food and customer service! This place is a complete GEM The food was excellent and the onion rings were hot and fresh. The woman working brought us a whole extra batch of onion rings because she wasn’t completely satisfied with the first batch, even though they were amazing. Good food good people

If You haven’t tried White Box you really need to, they have excellent Southern Fried Chicken. Forget Popeyes, Golden and KFC, White Box smokes them all. Mike (owner)is one really friendly guy and will work his butt off to make you happy. Don’t forget about the Texas size burgers coming off a seasoned grill, makes my mouth water!
