We ate on a Friday evening, buffet night, and ordered 2 walleye baskets and a walleye sandwich! The walleye must of come off of the buffet because it was not fresh and just barely warm! We ordered off the menu to get crisp walleye! Also, the fries were barely warm-like they had been sitting for a while! The waitress was good! We would not recommend Witts End to anyone!

They apparently have a buffet, but no one mentioned it when we arrived, leaving us flummoxed for the rest of our visit. I had the chicken sandwich and fries. They each seemed just slightly soggy, but the chicken tasted good. Google is asking about vegetarian options, and I don’t think any restaurant in Taylorville has vegetarian options.

Super disappointed in our order. They didn’t read the directions at all. Both wraps requested for no tomato and they had tomato. Italian beef requested juice on the side. I didn’t even get any juice and they barely put any meat on the sandwich. They are always out of chicken livers. I would recommend going down the road to Macon.

Love their Philly beef. (Philly cheese steak) sandwich. Ordered it for pick up and they forgot the dipping sauce they serve with it. Sandwich is not nearly as good without it. Craving has not went away now so I think it was on purpose so now I have to go back.

The waitresses tonight helped my daddy who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dimentia when he spilled the salt shaker and blamed it as defective…I think they realized his condition bless their hearts! Thank you!!

The food was typical bar food but it was above par. The service was unbelievable. I like to drink. And if my water is half empty they better start getting ready to fill it. And the lady was on it. She was excellent I couldn’t ask for anything more on the service. And the food was just good real good. I like the atmosphere was somewhere new.

Nice clean restaurant. Waitress was fast, friendly, and attentive. My wife enjoyed her half slab of ribs. They were juicy and tender. I had the honey Dijon chicken sandwich. It was tasty and filling. My friend had the ribeye and shrimp plate. He enjoyed his steak and said the shrimp was hot and crispy.

The service is always prompt, courteous, and friendly. My daughter and I enjoy the pick two appetizers. Our favorites are fried cauliflower and hot cheese balls. There are a number of items to choose from on the menu. We usually choose one of the basket meals. I prefer the clam basket. My daughter prefers the cod or chicken. It’s a family friendly, budget conscious, sit down restaurant.
