Very good customer service skills especially for today’s employees. Little girl who waited on me was the extra mile like 10 years ago. Thank you for hiring good employees. Food was delivered fast and was great. I tipped her extra because she was 1 in a million on taking care of customers and making sure to cover everything and upselling without being pushy or too aggressive. Great experience. Will definitely be back.

For a $7 sandwich the quantity was not worth it. I even asked for a couple more pieces of brisket and she stated I had to pay extra. Each bite I eat more bread then I do brisket! The customer service was awful. I do not recommend.

I gave it a 2 because the staff was very nice. The brisket tasted like it was from a store. The coleslaw tasted like grass. The pork nachos were soggy and my sister said it tasted terrible. We will not be going back.

I had never eaten at a Whitt’s Barbecue until this one opened in Cookeville. The funny thing is, I never order bbq from here, because I got stuck on their BBQ chickens from the beginning! I normally get a half chicken by itself. Unfortunately, most bbq places don’t have side items that are worth the money to me, and this is true here as well. I also get the bbq potato on occasion, and if you haven’t gotten it before, be ready….IT’S HUGE!!! Over all it’s a good place. The employees are always friendly as well.

Whitt’s catered my wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, and Chris was very easy to work with and even went above and beyond to deliver the food himself when he did not have an available worker. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because Chris called me an hour before the food was supposed to be delivered to the venue to ask if it was alright if he could go ahead and drop it off, as he was already there, which did cause a bit of issue with the day’s timeline and my schedule for getting ready. Other than that, it was great.

BBQ brisket nachos: meat was excellent, the way it should be cooked! I wouldn’t have put these items together but they meshed well. The beans were just right. Pulled pork sandwich the bun was hard and cold. Drive thru only.

I love going here for lunch and dinner. My favorite things to get are the pork potato, nachos and a good ole bbq pork sandwich. The sweet tea is also some of my favorite in Cookeville. Staff is always do friendly and i never wait long at all. I would definitely recommend this place for your bbq needs.!
