After 25 years in SF, finally passed by this place. It’s actually very tasty burgers and fries! We’ll definitely try again if we are in the area and wanting some burgers. I only gave it 4 out 5 stars for atmosphere because it’s not in the best area…but it’s ok if you go in the daytime.

Whiz has been around forever, but we only tried recently to realize we have been missing out! The burgers, shakes, and fish sandwiches were so good. The service is very friendly and thoughtful. Not glamorous place, but for the price and quality, I wouldn’t change.

Your usual burger shack. Ok so I’m revising my previous review. I’m not sure if they’ve update their ingredients or if there’s a big difference in their different burgers. But I ordered the Whizburger and this was step changes better than any of the previous regular round burgers I had gotten. It was tasty, fresh had awesome ingredients even though it was a bit expensive for a burger. I will have to go back and try the regular burgers again, but for now I can highly recommend the Whizburger option!
