Ordered a 1/2 slab dinner and a brisket sandwich meal. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, (it was 2pm, not crowded) and when we received it, the ribs were cold and everything else was lukewarm at best. They reheated the ribs and it helped a little. However, the brisket and the ribs both tasted like lighter fluid. We managed to finish the ribs but the brisket was too hard to chew through and the taste wasn’t worth it. The cornbread, fries, and green beans were good, in spite of being almost cold. I really can’t see how this place has such a high rating. I’m not picky about my food, but I work in the restaurant industry and I believe in standards. I won’t be returning, sadly. I was excited to go here after wanting to go for a while. To the owner, please raise your standards. That was the worst eating experience I’ve had in a very long time.

My wife and I went in for a take out dinner. It was our first time and we enjoyed the customer service. They were very nice and professional. They wanted to help and please. The place looked good. The food was very delicious. We had the brisket and ribs. The serving were plentiful. Our first experience was joyful. We definitely will return and recommend them.

Place seemed very clean. Huge selection of seafood as well as BBQ, lots of sauces to choose. My honey got the brisket dinner with coleslaw & okra. He rated the brisket an 8 (compared to his which is a 10, of course!) I got the chopped pork with potato salad and okra. Frankly I couldn’t eat it as it was wayyyy too much fat & even bones.The cornbread was soooo good! Fluffy with just the right hint of sweet, almost like a dessert cake. The sides were good and the people friendly. I would definitely go back but try one of the seafood options. I understand from other customers we talked to that the hot dogs are a big favorite, too.

The Best is here…I had trouble ordering my food through the automated system and James (owner) personally made the changes I requested on the spot and made my life easier today. The food is amazing, the ladies at the front are sweet and super professional and helpful. I’ve also felt welcomed anytime I’ve ordered food from here. They take care in how it’s prepared from the kitchen to your hands. You couldn’t pay me to eat anywhere else….and the fact that they have meatless options is *chefs kiss*

First time here. This is what I had. The food taste great. Full of flavor. However the portion is very small for $20. I could have easily went to Mutts for $20 and ate on that plate 2 time. I’m aware prices of food have increased but this portions is ridiculous.

We came here from Philly visiting for a family reunion, took my family here hoping to taste some good food. This definitely put Greenville on the map. Food is delicious and I appreciate the cook/chef, everything we’ve ordered was good. We ordered the Mac& Cheese , yams,greens,ribs,spicy pinto beans(best beans I ever had ), lobster,salmon,shrimp and chop chicken. I must be honest with no shade, the potato salad has to much mayo but flavor is good.

Look a here when I tell u the food is bustin it’s bustin! The best bbq restaurant that I’ve been to in a while I got the brisket… macaroni cheese pie and (my first time ever eating cooked) jack fruit the brisket was juicy and just melted in my mouth so tender and good macaroni was baked right just like my momma had made it! The jack fruit was unique but also tasted good once I got pass the texture but like I said that was my first time eating it like that. This is a black owned business and I tell u it was a flavor explosion believe it’s good and I will be going back..I’ma go back to especially eat the seafood next time I’m salivating just thinking about it lol! Y’all go and show them much love I know ur tummies will love them!
