Tasty food! I love their ayamase! Their food is fresh as they make it when you order. Very friendly and nice people and clean restaurant! I am always so grateful they package my food very very well when I order delivery. They package it carefully so it’s not exposed and it’s kept safe during delivery when I order from Uber eats. They are my constant go to for yummy African food!

The gentleman who made the food and served us was polite and comforting. It was wonderful to have the pleasure to have met him and to try his great food. We came all the way from Michigan and Jersey is a little hectic compared to home, so it was a an immediate relief as soon as we walked through the door. From the calming music to the amazing smells everything about this experience was perfect. I didn’t even to go back outside hahaha. The Eba/Fufu & Egusi was spicy and delicious! I have never had such a dish quite this good!!! Please do not hesitate to try this food, especially if you are from out of state, Jersey wouldn’t be the same experience without Why Go Far African Cuisine!!

Wanted something different and found my husband worked nearby. So he stopped by to pickup, turns out there isn’t much seating so it was fortuitous we wanted take out.

Very tasty food. My first time trying African food and it didn’t disappoint. I wish the portions were a bit bigger. Owner is very friendly. I’ve been here about 4-5 times now. Nice addition to the neighborhood.

I’ve been craving African food for months, especially Egusu Soup with Fufu. I never had it before & I chose this restaurant to order it from. Let me tell you, it was absolutely AMAZING! I went there 15 mins to closing & it was still fresh & hot. The flavor was ridiculously awesome. A little spice to it but nothing too crazy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ordered through GrubHub and everything came as requested though it seemed they took a little bit longer than expected to prepare the order. The food was delicious and the jollof rice wasn’t too spicy. The only let down was with the goat meat. There were only two pieces provided which would have been fine except that there was hardly an edible meat, only bones and fat!

The food was good. I had the egusi and pounded yam but it wasn’t spicy unfortunately. Maybe it’s cater toward ls African Americans to try. But it’s well seasoned and taste great.

I ordered the okra soup for the first time. The place was not tidy, the food was not good in my opinion. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The meat was old and tough. I ordered based on the views and comments that I read. All I can say is I’ve had better African foods.

This is the only restaurant I order from when I’m in the mood for egusi soup and fufu. I order through UberEats and I’m always satisfied. I apologize to the UberEats delivery drivers who have to come four miles to deliver it I had the goat pepper soup and although I love spicy foods, the goat pepper soup makes me choke. I wish it could be less spicy but it’s probably made in batches. It’s still good but I would enjoy it better if there wasn’t so much pepper.
