My fiancé and I had a later dinner here on a Wednesday night after a 5 hour motorcycle ride there. We were tired and hungry, and it definitely hit the spot after getting settled into the hotel. There was no wait and it was karaoke night so we listened while eating. The beer and food was on point…the Dank Pineapple beer was really tasty and we enjoyed the sample of espresso cheesecake (stout) which we both enjoyed but agreed a whole glass would be a lot…maybe as dessert another night! I recommend the Trout dip as it was phenomenal.

I recently visited Wicked Weed Pub and unfortunately, I can only give it one star for the beer. The deep fried deviled eggs were disappointing with a rubbery texture and no flavor. The onion rings tasted like they had been double fried and left to get cold. The chicken wings were tiny, barely the size of a quarter. The cheese curds were either freezer burnt or old and lacked any flavor. The only redeeming dish were the deep fried pickles, which had a slight dill pickle flavor.

Pub at Harrah Cherokee in North Carolina. Service is slow. Ambiance felt flat. Most of food is southern, with options of hamburgers. We ordered the soup of the day, Caesar salad and a po boy.

We got seated after 30 minutes. Our server Rachael was very friendly and attentive. The food was only ok. We were recommended to try the Brussels Sprouts but I didn’t like it that much. It was too sweet and a bit soggy. I got the pork chop with blackberry sauce and didn’t like it either, maybe the sauce was off to me and my first time eating pork chop with some sweet sauce like that. Just didn’t go well. Nice little place though. We liked the service. Just not too crazy about the food.

When you come to Cherokee, the options are very limited. There is no room service, the new Gordon Ramsey concept is just an overpriced food court. It’s nearly impossible get a reservation at Brio and Ruth Chris can be more than what you were planning to spend.

Drinks were good, food was good, but our waitress was so rude we didn’t even leave a tip, and we are usually great tippers. She took our id and left to get our check…after 15 minutes she hadn’t returned, so I went to fin pd her. She said she thought she had brought it to us….but she checked and she had not. She brought it back, and literally threw it at my friend, and stormed out of the restaurant. She definitely put a damper on an otherwise pleasant meal.

I don’t even complain but I have to this time! I’m so disappointed I the quality of the food. We paid $50 for 11 of these little wings, fries and 2 cocktails. The waitress seemed like we were bothering her. We wont be back.

Ate here on a Sunday night because the other Casino restaurants had one to two hour waits, we got a table right away at Wicked weed. Our beer choice was fine, the bison slider appetizers were not good. The pimento cheese spread had a weird taste and the bison had a gamey taste…of the three sliders, two and a half were left on the table. The candy brussel sprouts were good and a good portion. I got the shrimp and grits, the shrimp and gravy were okay, the grits were lumpy and not tasty. The only meal that was a hit was the chicken gouda, and all three of us ate from that plate, as there was a good size portion of it! The server was friendly!
