Cute place. Bigger inside than it looks. Hot dogs are really good. Decent size. Cheese curds were really good too. Staff was slightly less than friendly but looked like maybe a family run place and the kids weren’t too jazzed to be working the counter. Whatever the case, I’ll be back.

Best dogs I’ve eaten in years! Widens worked out great for our party of 50 , the onions are chopped meticulously and applied liberally. Mark doesn’t hold out on his Widens weiners condiments and fresh frys !

I don’t live in the area, but I come here every time I’m in town. Family-run place with excellent food at reasonable prices. Great dogs and Italian beef. I like to support small, local businesses and this one is easy to support.

Hot dogs are fabulous and the cheese for the fries is so good not some strange icky cheese you are given sometimes at other establishments. Definitely a hidden gem in Orland. I highly recommend and the staff is no nice and courteous. I never write reviews. But everything was so good, I had to!

The best! Simple menu. Reminds me of Jr’s hotdogs from bygone days of Alsip. Hotdogs and hamburgers are perfect, authentic, delicious. Widens has a clean, friendly, small, old school vibe. If you want what most of Orland food scene has to offer: corporate, cookie cutter places like Panara, Panda Express, and McDonalds, stay on Lagrange. If you want small town, affordable food made with fresh ingredients and love, go to Widens.

Love Mark and his family. Widen’s hotdogs are the absolute best-taste like no other. Always fresh and delicious. We visit Widen’s every Friday before riding because my daughter says, “the hotdogs make me ride faster!” Gotta love a local boy, who brings great things to the SW suburbs. You MUST go!
