We have visited the Old Apple Barn before & planned to eat at the restaurant Wild Game Bistro this time. It has a variety of options for your family. My son enjoyed the Bison burger, my daughter the chicken basket & mac & cheese. My husband & I enjoyed the beef burger, delicious! We enjoyed the outside seating/ picnic tables. The frozen lemonade was especially refreshing.

What a fun dining experience! Cozy looking g cabin styled building with nice outdoor patio dining. My husband & son both had the Elk burgers & said the patties were very juicy & full of flavor! I had the Hunter stew chock full of fresh veggies & all the various sausages. The fries were Amazing! We brought a cooler to take home Elk burgers & Elk & venison ground beef. Good beer selection!! Make sure to walk over to the Apple Gin Nextdoor!

Not a cheap place to eat out, but quite delicious food! We both had the bison burger and tried their mac and cheese and sodas. I would come back here again. It was very tasty and a fun environment. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Spoiler…..The perfect road side restaurant to stop and enjoy not a good meal. More like great meal! Spent the day in White Sands to day and decided to stop in and grab lunch. Was so worth it.

Ate here with the family during the COVID-19 pandemic. They ask that you wear a mask while ordering inside. Eating tables and shade/canopies provided outside where you eat and no masks are required there. Tasty food, friendly service. Took a while to get the food, but I wasn’t in a rush (enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the beautiful scenery).

Where to start….ugh….. So i ordered sweet tea and a BYO salad with grilled chicken….. If you cook steak to order i EXPECTED the chicken too be fresh. Only 2 pieces were even warm! You can tell this chicken is old. (I didn’t eat the chicken. See pic below)

The woman with glasses who works the cashier was extremely rude. The food was not even good and the service was absolutely terrible. The restrooms were disgusting and quite frankly, this establishment needs to be shut down. I have never met such a rude service worker as I did here. I would not recommend coming here. Save your money and self respect.
