The service and atmosphere are wonderful full stop. We arrived at 5pm on a Sunday right when they opened (however this was our second time coming in) and the sushi rice is awful – it reminds me of sushi from a grocery store…hard, flavorless, falling apart. The actual flavor (outside of the rice) of the two special rolls we got were delicious, but it would be really great for the restaurant to reassess the rice…people really underestimate how much rice impacts the taste profile of an entire piece of sushi. I am not sure if we happened to come when they were using leftover rice from the night prior (a big no no) or if the quality of the rice used is low, but the sushi would be 10 more chefs kisses if you nailed the rice! I am writing just in hopes you reconsider as everything else about the tastes, restaurant and service is spot on.

I went to Wild Ginger for a date night with my husband. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It was pretty busy and the hostess tried to get us to sit outside when it was about 45 degrees. We were fine waiting so we did, however the host seemed a little annoyed at that.

We had a blast here! Lots of fun appetizers to try. The crab wontons were the favorite. The scallops were soft and buttery. The service was good. The atmosphere was nice, good lighting and music. The dessert was ok…a bit dry. We will definitely be back…but try different desserts…perhaps one of the cookie ice cream sandwiches. Cheers

Great food and service. Got the Filet and it was cooked perfectly. It came with a side sauce that paired very nicely with the steak. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place. I didn’t get the sushi but a lot of people around me did and judging by their happy expressions, I’d say it’s a good buy!
