Stopped here for lunch before leaving town and was underwhelmed at best. I’m a fan of the ingredients of my order (I had one of their hot drinks that had tumeric) and it had so much tumeric that it was grainy (but hey it’s good for you so) & the Keto bowl lacked any seasoning whatsoever (I had to individually salt each bite and still gave up like 10 bites in) besides the eggs that were incredibly vinegar heavy. For almost $30 for a bowl and a drink… not worth it for me. The plating and presentation are pretty though. All of this to say— after speaking with the staff, they did comp my bowl so kudos to their great service as well

We ate here twice on our vacation. The food is healthy and full of flavor. That being said, the quality of food presentation is inconsistent. When I ordered two poached eggs they brought out one full egg and one left over egg with just the egg whites. I asked about it and they said they would make a second new egg for me. They were courteous throughout the process, but I was surprised they missed giving me a whole yolk.

The “little devil” sandwich and a cup of coffee is a refreshing reason to get out of bed! The deviled egg aioli and red onions pull the egg avocado sandwich together with perfectly-crispified buttery fluffy sourdough. A bit on the pricey side ($15 for the sandwich) but worth every bit for the ambiance and presentation.

The avocado toast with tofu scramble is TO. DIE. FOR. Absolutely love coming here. The service is amazing as well as the exquisite food.

The rose hips in my mocha and the generous portion size of my skillet breakfast were amazing! The atmosphere also makes it a nice place to dine alone (or with others, I’m sure). The prices are very high for what is a relatively standard breakfast in my opinion, but the service is excellent too.

This was my first visit to Wild Root. Unfortunately overall it didn’t live up to the expectations. The dishes look and smell fantastic, however the taste was off and many components didn’t taste fresh. The potatos included with the seared Ahi Tuna were definitely not and the chicken added to the Risotto dish tasted off, as if had been cooked in the same pan as fish. Overall I was not thrilled with any of the three dishes ordered. The cocktails were tasty (“Lavender Daydream” and the “Fog Lifter”) but not large and on the expensive side at around $15 each. The staff were friendly and seemed reasonably well informed on the menu, however they were not super present, were distracted on their cell phones behind the bar, and didn’t say anything when we went to leave.

I had wanted to come here for a long time and finally did. It was good, though not my favorite breakfast in town. Service was great. I got the wild skillet which is a hefty portion, it is tasty enough, tho I think the texture was a little odd to me and I wished for more egg. Probably for practical reasons it is all made in a giant pot so gets a bit soft for my taste. Perhaps will try something else next time. Very classy atmosphere.

absolutely fantastic food, service, and experience. the flavors on the dishes we had were absolutely spectacular, the bread? top notch. The orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. I would 110% tell everyone to try this place once. My only complaint is that the chairs aren’t the most comfortable, which really isn’t even a big deal.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! We came on a Sunday during the summer. They serve brunch until 4 p.m.! One of us got the avocado toast in the other one got the salmon eggs benedict, and both were super tasty! It’s also a great place for people watching. We really enjoyed our experience 🙂
