Great local spot. Killer wine list. Creative, tasty food. Toulouse sausage was the highlight. Daily special ham and cheese pastry was tasty. The missus loved the topneck clams in almond milk and XO sauce. Fun crew to hang out with too. 5⭐️

I did not try the food. This is a review on the restaurant’s social responsibility of being a good neighbor.

I loved Wildair. I was seeking out the best food in the city, and this has appeared on a few lists. It costs a fair bit, but that’s the way of things in NYC. The atmosphere is excellent and the service great. And the food is just outstanding. We sampled a bit of everything, but the standouts for me were the succulent tartare and clams with a kind of oat milk situation (seriously amazing flavour). And the jerk prawn skewers were absolutely perfect. Definitely worth visiting when you’re in NYC!

One of the rare places that’s hip and young and yet has truly excellent food. We sat outside, because our group were mostly over 40 years old and inside are high tops which on a Saturday night were packed tightly together in a loud hot space for young people dressed for a night on the town. Outside was a basic shed, nothing fancy, but the weather was good and the pace and atmosphere was relaxed.

I guess it wasn’t my luck since I wasn’t really impressed by any of the dishes. Tartar was extremely oily due to the walnut pesto and uni with potato cake was simply flavourless.

Intimate restaurant with extensive wine list and short, tapas style dinner menu. Waitress was super helpful for picking out a bottle of wine based on our personal preference. Desserts were phenomenal. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a large meal, but rest assured the food is just as incredible as the wine and the atmosphere.

Good not great. Slightly cramped space. Dishes were good (in particular the beef tartare and desserts) but lacked consistency.

A tapas style bistro that serves great food, some interesting wine, and great service. Even we shared everything and only a bite of every dishes, (usually I would complain about the portion) I could totally catch the effort and creativity the chef made on the food. From mysterious surprising lettuce-pistachio sauce to fried olives. One surprise after one.

Quite tasty; flavors can have offer an interesting edge. Excellent service. The prawns have their shells on. The only complaint: the music. Hip hop, loaded with “n” words, “f” words, etc. NOT a place therefore to bring small children. Management said: “It’s what our customers want”. Would be 4 stars except we felt the music had lyrics we’d have been shunned/cancelled if we spoke them aloud.

I’ve thought about visiting here for a while, but I’ve never had a chance to since they don’t take reservations. This time, I happened to be in the area around the time when they open, so I decided to give a try. I also recommend others to visit a little after 5pm, as I could see seatings could be a bit tight when they get busy. It wasn’t hard to get a seating right after its opening.
