We really liked this place! The owner, Jeff and his team can cook. The smoked bologna was incredible. I never expected that would be so good. The place has several custom sauces that were also great and quite a treat. We were up on the bikes from Florida and the guys at Dueling Grounds Distillery, also a great tour, recommended Jeff’s place to eat. Great choice. Stop buy if you’re in the area and you won’t be disappointed!! Side note. The food portions are very generous as well.

Food was really good. The fries were a little soggy for my taste. The staff were all very friendly & welcoming. The prices were very reasonable.

When Best Things Kentucky ranked this one 2/10, I sat up and took notice. The high rating inspired me to make a detour en route from Nashville to Atlanta and give it a try. A pulled pork sandwich and order of “hog” (=seasoned) fries came to $8.78. They were short staffed, and the dining room was closed, so I went through the drive-thru and ended up eating on a picnic bench in a cold wind. No matter. One bite of the pulled pork, and it was clear that I had happened upon BBQ nirvana. The pork is so beautifully smoked that I urge everyone to sample it plain before trying the sauce that came with the order. The seasoned fries, which appear to have been given a dash of rub, complemented the meat beautifully. This is great BBQ, and well worth the few minutes that it takes to come into town from the interstate. If you are a BBQ fan, you should consider this, our 355th stop in a journey spanning 35 states, a “must do.”

Second visit update.. I can’t stress how good this place is. A lot of food for the money and everything was delicious. Smoked baloney is amazing.

This was the first time to get food there and we will be back. Everything we got was great and the people there are awesome. Highly recommend if you like good smoked BBQ. Also they have a bike night on Tuesdays. We love to support locally owned restaurants and this is a good one.

The real deal! And Jeff the owner came out to walk us Northerner’s through the menu. The house made sauce was EPIC! Thank you Jeff for the warm welcome, the full belly’s, the big smile and sauce to-go!
