Had the chance to check out Willamette Valley Smoke House this past Monday. It was actually the second time I ate there, however the first time I stopped they were just setting up the food truck. I have lived in Texas, and several other places within this amazing place we call the world. Some that make their own claim to BBQ fame, or we do bigger and better or all others are smoke we are the fire! Let me tell you this place has a brisket that saying, “it melts in your mouth like butter!” Is a statement that doesn’t even begin to touch the tip of the iceberg. The brisket here blows anything I have EVER tasted before. It was so delicious that i didnt even separate the fat bits out. I almost found myself wanting more of everything as well as the scrumptious bark! It literally will BLOW YOUR MIND AND TASTE BUDS while transforming you into a blissful food euphoria. This is a MUST have and you can tell the chef/owner Q puts his ultimate passion and love into this. Then let’s talk about this atmosphere, welcoming, fun, country comfort with a touch of rustic charm feeling. Then top if all off with some good ol fashion customer service with countryfied outsoor table side games and love. I can’t say enough about how amazing this gem of a find is! I’d happily drive 2.5 hours to dine here on any given day!

Just starting out, but if they continue with the high quality flavor. It’s the only place for dinner out.. Brisket and chimichari sauce is the best in town. Keep it going!!! I will always go back!!!

Very dissatisfied..arrived about 10 minutes early so waiting first in line to order. And waited..opened 7-8 minutes after 11. Not a big deal since we could see the cook was busy. But asking questions about the food from the front guy…he finally said yeah the ribs wouldn’t be ready for hours and the tri tip wouldn’t be ready for an hour. And no apologies for seeing us wait for 25 minutes in the heat and not letting us know about what wasn’t available. Not a very good ad for your business..he just acted like he didn’t care…and by that time neither did we so all five us went to another restaurant. Too bad, we all live in the neighborhood and were looking forward to music and wine nights etc.
