Willie’s Burgers & BBQ was phenomenal! Willie greeted you the moment you walked in and was a real hoot and incredibly polite! The food was great, you could tell it was fresh! The homemade habanero salsa was that perfect amount of heat, you know right before it burns your mouth so bad you can’t taste your food anymore, it was delicious! Thank you for your hospitality, anytime I get back to your neck of the woods from Dallas, I’ll be sure to visit you!

This is exactly what you would think it would be, a little quite spot to grab some food, the breakfast tacos are awesome, the owner Willie is a great guy, the tomatillo sauce is great. This place has been here for a long time, local, honest people own and operate it, great place to sit down with friends and catch up over some tacos…..try the suicide breakfast taco….you won’t regret it!

A spicewood original! Willie’s has been my go to for breakfast tacos for over 5 years. The grande tacos are like breakfast burritos – very big! The texasscape murals on the walls are beautifully done and the aesthetic matches old spicewood charm beautifully. Most of the staff have been there since the beginning and are the reason this place stays true to its roots. Whether you’re new to the area, or always wondered if Willie’s was worth stopping by, I encourage you to give it a try. Reminds you of all the reasons we love spicewood.

What a great place! The food was so delicious and the service was just as great. We got a chance to speak to the owner’s son and learned a bit of history about their place. As we were getting ready to leave the owner himself (who had cooked our food!) came to introduce himself. Willie and his son made us feel like we had known them all our lives. Breakfast tacos with an unasked for side helping of politics. Oof. Food was ok, cooks are all white and tastes like it. Burgers and brisket probably would have been a better choice.

the staff is always amazing and the breakfast tacos are consistently good and full. i come here probably at least once a week for breakfast and it never fails me. the chicken strips and gravy are also good. the restaurant is clean and cozy. 10/10 would recommend!!
