I was disappointed. It’s farm to fork – that is their big thing so understand that going in. There isn’t a lot of flavor to anything. Not even basic salt & pepper. It’s fresh – I will give them that. You order a potato, it tastes like a potato. Prepare to pay for your entry which is the entry only, any sides are separate. It’s on the pricier side with sparkling water running at a small bottle for $8 and a can of Sprite (yes it was brought out in a can) running at $4.

Superb restaurant that graciously stayed open later for us late comers and served us the best Italian we’ve had in the longest of time. René made the best dirty martini, as any good barkeep will. It’s been insane how we can’t get a decent drink in DC anymore…. Our meals consisted of roasted tomato pacherri and duck ragu tagliatelle pasta that were divine. We started off w the focaccia which was exquisite. We also got the meatballs, and tho warned we may had ordered a bit too much, we ate it all as the hungry piggies we were. But probably the best was the nice Cabernet we got with our meal. Only in California can you get a cab this good BY THE GLASS. Now I see what the allure is of the west coast. We were so satisfied, and so happy the hotel hostess put her neck on the line to set us up w space at the bar when they were already prepping to close. She said that we must have the Willow experience and glad we did!

A pleasant first experience at Willow this past week. The panzanella salad with chicken was prepared perfectly and full of flavor. My guest had the burger which she enjoyed. Service was a tad slow but it was still enjoyable. Will definitely try for dinner soon

We had a 3 hour Amtrak layover and this was the first restaurant we came to that was still open (8 pm). We started with beer and foccia. The foccia was the highlight of the meal. My pasta was too firm and chewy for my taste. My husband had lasagna that he thought was just ok. Is go back for the beer and foccia, but leave before dinner.

Great service from everyone there from host to food runners and the main server. The restaurant was very clean quiet and looks really good. The designer did a really good job. We ate apps and main courses, everything was really good. Cocktail menu is a bit limited but the few drinks they served were really good. Lots of wine to chose from. I definitely recommend this place.
