I have driven by here several times and decided to gamble and take my folks for dinner there this evening. They have a wide variety of items to choose from, very fairly priced, low in my opinion, and the staff is extremely friendly. The place is very clean and kind of rustic. They have a nice beer menu and bar area, which is unique for this location. They will also make you a fresh pot of coffee, upon request. Crisp, fresh salads, excellent steak sandwiches, home style French fries, and great dessert options, that is, if you have room for dessert after the large portions. If you are on a low sodium diet, I’d speak up about it, prior to ordering. They tend to their clientele frequently, and are very personable, and will go out of their way to satisfy. The only reason I am not giving five stars is I’m picky about steak. The 10 oz sirloin steak I ordered was excellent quality, but seasoned prior to being cooked, without it being mentioned on the menu. I prefer Au jus on the side. Over all though, I’d say go, go, go!

Delicious! Last night we had the fish dinner with white beans and coleslaw. Exactly what I longed for after a hard work week. Staff was sweet and friendly! The tartar side homemade the perfect touch! The resturant is a log cabin which produces a nice down home feeling. I was commenting on how it would be a great venue for country wedding reception. Definitely worth the ride.

Staff was friendly place was clean food was mediocre had a lot better pasta for 11 bucks chicken was suppose to be blackened it was barely done. Guess good for a quick bite thus was first time back since it changed owners needs improvement. Don’t know about other foods but menu does not give a lot of choices
