If you want fine dining, don’t go here. If you want a basic old-fashioned supper club menu with steak, fish, pork, and chicken with a nice view of the lake, this is the place. Simple food, the menu might be the same as it was 30 years ago, but all perfectly prepared. The place looks run down and there were only a couple of people in the place at the very start of the season. I almost didn’t look at the salad bar, but was surprised to see nice fresh greens and plenty of veggies. My broasted chicken was crisp and juicy and flavorful, the ribs tasty, and the steak was good and precisely medium rare. My side of hash browns was hot and crispy. Don’t expect atmosphere other than the backwoods experience, but if you’re looking for tasty simple food that’s cooked right, try here.
