This place was amazing! From dinner to soup to dessert. Southern sweet tea is always the best anyways, but theirs was better than most, and their fried banana cheesecake was delicious!

Service was slow on the Sunday we ate there. Food was good once we got it. I think they need to keep the fans going so that the flies don’t fly around so much because one did lite on my green beans, could not eat.

Hadnt ate here in a few years and it may be a while again …The waitress had only been working two weeks,so i took that into account for no silverware or napkins brought out to us; until after she brought the food out . I had to ask for them then..she was nice though. The chicken was tough to chew,the dressing was good, but the broccoli ,with what was suppose to be cheese, was a no for me ..the taste,color and texture was not like any cheese i have ever had…and the broccoli was hard like it was raw and not cooked.The sweet tea was good.The seafood was great last time i ate here ,but the hush puppies are always good.Disappointed the food wasnt better this time.

Wilson’s has been a staple of South Hill for years. I hadn’t been here in over 15 years, but decided to visit while I was in town. The food was really good, the service was a bit a slow because there was only one waitress. Everyone was really nice.

The table I sat at was sticky. Not wiped down. The waitress appeared to be busy in conversation with a group of friends. Waited 4-5 min to order a Pepsi. Another 5 to get it. No smile. Terrible lighting. I lost my appetite immediately. I don’t do sticky. I left and don’t feel like eating today. I hear their food is good by never tried it. This place has potential. Just needs management to fix it.

We just didn’t like it. The cobbler was just crust with a little fruit filling that was so thick it was glue. Inedible. The food was bland, our waitress kept forgetting us. We had no silverware with food till my husband went up front and asked. Ran out of beverages. Just an experience not worth repeating.

restaurant seems to hav been understaffed, my fried flounder had scales on it (more on piece brought hm for keft over), cheese sauce on broccoli was too watery, we weren’t serverd hush puppies prior to receiving our ordered meals, we found out customers must request that service now.

Terrible. Food had no flavor. Pork chops paper thin and $14. Mashed potatoes were watery. Green beans cold out of a can. Won’t go back under whoever is running the place now.
