This is a hole in the wall for sure. If you want pristine it’s not for you. However the food is great, staff lovely and friendly. It’s full of locals up in ages but it’s quaint and is well worth supporting. Definitely a mom and pop feel. The pancakes are the size of a hubcap so one is more than enough for most people.

Do you like food, well Wimpie’s serves good, hot and plenty. Lots of southern style meals. I went in for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy with ham, eggs and home fries. Coffee cup never was empty. All the servers aid each other so fresh hot coffee is always ready. Lots of regular customers often called by name. Off the main road so take the extra time to enjoy a great meal

After being up all night with storms, this was one of the few breakfast places open early (5am) and so we gave it a try. Lots of men sitting around chit chatting at the tables, obviously regulars, which made me feel good cause regulars means good food or good coffee or both and probably good service. We did get all three good service, food, and coffee. Tons of food, all of it tasty. The home fries were particularly good. I can’t believe we’ve lived the Northside of Hixson over 3 years and hadn’t been. We will definitely be back.

The owners are very hands on. They care about their customers. The waitress made a mistake and the owner came to our table and apologized for the inconvenience. She also took our meal off the check.

My family and I went here and even though it was busy they were very fast at taking our orders! Our waitress was very lovely and the breakfast was delicious and the pricing was great too!! Overall this was a great experience and the waitresses would check up on us regularly!

Go somewhere that your money is valued. Very poor management and customer service! I’ve waited TWICE on food and had to ask where my order was and it was sitting up front!!! So by the time I get my food it’s soggy from sitting in a Togo box and the “manager” just sits on the phone and agrees with you but does NOTHING to make it right.
