My daughter stated it was half the food as previously served. Feel bad there is only one waitress and it’s hard to keep up. I haven’t gone before but my broiled chicken breast was good. 6.95 and dinner salad not more than lettuce and couple of cucumbers. Granddaughter liked her burger.

I’ve lived here since 1983 and somehow I’ve missed this place, what a blessing! Their drinks must be good because they serve the worst food in the valley. There were 18 people in our group and every plate of food came out of a box and frozen, not a fresh item on any plate. I’ve had better Swanson TV dinners. However, I will say that the water they served out of the flimsy plastic beer cups was quite refreshing.

Ordered the hand cut rib eye medium rare with fried shrimp add on. The Fries came with my meal. Everything came to the table and the food was cold and over cooked. I cut in to the steak and it was well done to the point it wasn’t even juicy. The onions and mushrooms were dry and cold as well. The steak wasn’t seasoned at all. I had to slather it in salt pepper A1 and horseradish to get half of it down. I didn’t eat the other half as the first half killed my appetite. The fried prawns (shrimp) although also cold were pretty good. The Fries were maybe Luke warm at most. They were OK tasting.

Terrible service. No sign that says “seat yourselves” so you just stand there like a dummy. Our food took 40 mins to arrive (burger and FF for adult and toddler) Food was cold. Didn’t want to wait for a new burger but did ask for new fries. 10 minutes later, we got cold fries again. Waitress did discount our ticket. Second time at Scotty’s. First time the food took a long time and food came warm not hot. After strike 2 We will not be returning. I hope there is improvement for them soon.

Pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place was. Been 2 times and the service was absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful and the food amazing. First time had an excellent steak and this time I tried the Salmon and it was wonderful as well. Both servers were so pleasant and made the experience so great. We will be back for sure. So happy we finally have a place to have a nice meal in the Flathead.

Ordered two $26.00 steaks and both were cooked incorrectly. This wouldn’t be the biggest deal in the world except it’s a steak house so my expectations were higher. Both steaks (one ordered “well well done” and one medium-well) were burnt to charcoal on parts of the outside and bloody as well as cool to the touch inside.

In town from Arkansas and stopped in for dinner tonight. The food was amazing and terrific service. Joe, our server was very professional and took great care of us throughout the night. At the end of dinner the head chef came out to talk to us to make sure we were pleased with our meal. A place that is definitely on my list to come back to and recommend to others. A must visit place!

I’m only giving them 2 stars due to the fact that what food we did receive was very good. It’s sad when a steakhouses is only open for 4 hours in a day and they run out of the soup of the day and the special of the day only 2 hours into the service. The waitress told me that they did still have the onion soup but when I placed my order she said they can’t substitute the soup and all I could get was the salad or pay extra for the other soup. The steak dinner my husband ordered for $28.00 only came with the steak salad and vegetable garnish (which was only one small sprig of broccoli and two carrot rings.) He had to pay extra for his rice. Another thing that bothered us was the place wasn’t very busy and had open seats all over but they were sitting everyone at the next tables all crowded together. During this time of social distancing all other restaurants are skipping every other table. As people were sitting each separate waiter was telling the patrons the soup of the day and the special. Made my husband and I think, “did our waitress lie to us or are they not informing the other’s on what is going on?” Either way bad business practices. Also they offered me yesterday’s special and I did order it and it was good. Just a clue if you’re out of that days special replace it but don’t say it was yesterday’s food. I wouldn’t have known the difference. You really should make accommodations if you run out of the soup and let customers order the one you do have at no extra charge. And steaks should come with a side like potato rice or pasta.

Came here as a recommendation. This place is so good, a little different inside vs other stake houses. The only thing my steak was more pink when ordered well done. The mac and cheese that I got was average, didn’t taste homemade. I would eat here another time. Our servers name was Pete. He was very nice and very informative and gave up dates ie the kitchen wad backed up, he needed to take another order but still greeted us. It wad very late and could tell he was a hard worker.
