Wonderful place within a minute from the Windham/Salem rail trail. Stopped for coffee and breakfast. Staff is super friendly, food was delicious. Highly recommend for a casual dining with indoor and outdoor seating.

This breakfast place was so cute, warm, and welcoming! The coffee was amazing and fresh. The French toast was the softest, fluffiest French toast I’ve ever had. I didn’t even need a real knife! The plastic knife cut right through like butter, and the maple syrup!! Ooh my, it was rich and sweet! Way better than Florida’s syrup. The staff are so kind and friendly. There is a cute little gift shop that has some neat little things and some great candy. If you’re going to try a bakery item, you HAVE to get the pistachio cake. It was heaven! This was a perfect end to my vacation. Thank you!

Thank you for making my birthday breakfast so enjoyable yesterday! From our nearly three year old grandson, to our lovely police officer son (who had to run off on duty!), to his wife’s family from Costa Rica, and my wonderful husband, we all really enjoyed our start to the day. This time last year, I was undergoing treatment in Dana Farber and we didn’t know if I would see another birthday yet here we were enjoying ourselves ‘Chez Kay’!

We enjoy the sandwiches but often stop for to- go soups and stews on the rotating menu. Delicious cinnamon buns. Lovely staff and friendly service. I enjoy browsing the gift shop after lunch.

Stopped there on our way to the Robert Frost farm. This was definitely a cute country store type setting. And the food was great. I recommend it as a nice place to stop, shop & eat! Will definitely go again when I’m over that way!

An absolute delight of a place to stop in for homemade food to go or dine in after a walk on the nearby Windham Derry Rail Trail. Seasonal favorites. Breakfast and Lunch or grab a quart of the excellent daily selections of soup, Chowder or Chili for dinner at home. Fresh baked goods, warm tea and a selection of coffee awaits. The Country Store is a wonderful place to look for gifts or treats for yourself. The dining area is lovely with plenty of character and trinkets from New England’s past. Sit in bring a friend, loved one and be ready to meet new friends in this little corner spot run like you are family not a customer.

We have been going to this restaurant for a few years now, and just returned from there. We had an omelet and eggs benedict. I have to say, it was the most disappointing meal we have ever had there. The omelet was tiny, the eggs benny was lukewarm, the pan fries were (it seemed) leftover from the day before. The hollandaise had no flavor, the english muffin was not a good one. The best part of this meal was the side of bacon and the coffe. I ate one english muffin, the wife ate half her omelet, which was ordered with cheese ( got none). Hopefully, it was just a fluke.

Great spot to grab breakfast or lunch. Plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. Food is fresh and the service is very jovial. It’s located 2 minutes away from the Windham Rail Trail.

We ate breakfast here and got The Jumbo and Buttermilk Biscuit. Both were excellent, bacon was crispy. Coffee is self serve in a mug of your choice, with free refills. Also ordered a cinnamon bun heated, but it was tough like it had been microwaved to long. Flavor was good though. Friendly staff, and they bring your order to your table. Nice outside seating too! We’ll definitely be back!

After waiting over 30 minutes and having people that came after us get their food before us the food came out with UNEDIBLE BURNT TOAST and SNARKY comment from the waitress about smiling when we clearly were unhappy with her service. Will be sure NEVER to be back again and to advise all my friends and family that if they want a pleasant dining experience and quality food to spend their money else where. Usually I am all for supporting businesses and write nice things about all the places I visit but I was so disgusted with how my visit here went today I couldn’t not share it.
