Stopped here after another restaurant had a wait. The menu is pretty solid and while the biscuit isn’t my favorite it was better than most. Overall it’s fine for breakfast but I would not drive out of my way to eat here

Cute little diner in an out of the way place. Not quite country but not the ‘burbs either. Service is quick and friendly and very reasonable prices. The French Toast with bacon is excellent. Skip the ‘Barrel and try this place instead…

This is a nice quaint diner. I think I counted 12 or so tables. It was not super busy when I went so there was not a wait. The food was good. I had breakfast. It was a nice alternative to ihop.

As others have said, Windy City Grill is a hidden gem. Finding a good brunch spot that uses quality ingredients and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg can be a challenge, but WCG checks all the boxes of a traditional diner: friendly owners and employees, a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options, quality dishes that are home made with quality ingredients, and all at an affordable price.

Windy City Grill is a small restaurant with very personable service. The owner and staff are very welcoming and they make you feel right at home. Everything ab excellent and the service was A++++. We ordered combo #4 and it was delicious. I can’t wait to return. If you’re on the area please stop by.

We come here a good bit, but had to share today’s experience. The servers looked lost, it was chaotic and after waiting over 40 minutes for our breakfast, got up and walked out. The waitress left to get a refill for my drink and after 20 minutes, I still had not gotten it. She ran to the door to put up the closed sign (2 hours early), and we overheard people being turned away because they were short staffed and also that the owners were out of town. These things were understandable, but the server could have checked in with us during the delay. Instead, we were totally ignored. I hope to come back in the future, but I hope this can be addressed, and felt the owners should know. Very disappointing- otherwise I would give this place 5 stars.

If I could Give a – 1 review I would. The kindness of staff was horrible. Service all around was horrible the food was okay. Ordering was slow and they server acting as if it was an inconvenience to serve us. Oh the fire department probably should make an appearance because they have tables blocking an emergency exit.

Staff was nice but….. Service needs some improvement. Forgetting order, not completely refreshing drinks, outdoor seating was not cleaned, lots of pollen outside. This all can be worked on and improved. Thank you
