The service was amazing. It’s the kind if excellence you expext when dinning out. The food out of this world ….too notch. I recomend the ribs and the Italian wrap. Both choices are going to satify you ,but all thier food choices are winners. Hey, why are you not there yet. Your meal is waiting for you.

My boyfriend and my sons and I enjoy coming here to eat. My boyfriend and I are from Chicago, so we can relate to the atmosphere in this restaurant, and the pictures are familiar and takes us back to places we’ve both been. The food is good also, reasonably priced and cooked to order. This restaurant is clean and I know the owners from a restaurant they owned elsewhere. When we come to Mishawaka to shop, which is a weekend thing now, this is one of our favorites places! Yum

Will definitely be back. This is one restaurant that went out of their way to make a customer happy. They went above and beyond expectations. The food was delicious the serving sizes were amazing. The young lady that was working the front counter yesterday(who tried to answer the phone numerous times to take the order to begin with but neither party could be heard) made sure to get us our order quicker than could be imagined knowing that we had an appointment to get to. There’s just not enough to say on the experience that we had with this establishment. I hope people will read this review and go and get the customer service as well as the amazing food that we experience. THANK YOU WINDY CITY GYROS EMPLOYEES…..

One photo is a real italian beef. The other is a catastrophe. Im sure you can see which is which. Italian beefs have au jus sauce. The ones we received had marinara sauce. Called up there and spoke to “the owner” and she swears she made them correctly and it’s supposed to have red sauce. Really? Anybody who eats Italian beef sandwiches knows they do not come with marinara. That’s not an Italian beef. She even refused to add cheese at the start of the order. Anywhere else you can have cheese added to an Italian beef, even with a small fee that’s still acceptable. They used to add cheese if we wanted, but not anymore. They used to prepare food correctly, but not anymore. This used to be a good restaurant, buy not anymore. We’ll pass for now on and get our food from a restaurant that actually knows about food

I absolutely love me some Gyros… but no matter what,you may be in the mood for, you can find something to eat. The menu is just what you would expect. Barbecue ribs, chicken, hot dogs and of course Gyros. Everyone is very nice and the seating in spotless. I love the memorabilia scattered about as well.

Took a chance and visited this restaurant. This place is in it’s 3rd ownership or change of management within the past 2 years. I chose the rib tips, which were recommended by the staff as one of it’s best sellers, and the polish sausage. The very thin ” beef polish sausage” came with a mound of onions, a slice of pickle and two small peppers, all stuff into the bun. Also stuffed into the bun was a generous glop of mustard. However, the bun from Sam’s Club was tasty. The rib tips came on a paper plate with generic BBQ sauce poured on top. The meat was crunchy due to being burnt. The restroom was clean and smelled fresh. The toilet’s handle is broken and there’s water seeping from behind into the floor. Lots of issues here from cook to restroom repairs. Sadly returning to this establishment is a NO from me.

This place feels like home. Nice, sometimes quiet environment. In a world of fast service, i feel like the interactions with staff are genuine and food is always fresh and hot. Good foods and good folks. Support this establishment. They have great items on the menu! My child loves the cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets and I’m a huge fan of the Gyro! You also get a side of fries with the combo that are perfect!
