Winfield Inn is a local bar and restaurant that serves excellent food. I highly recommend the crab cakes, crab fluff (huge and loaded with lump crabmeat) and shrimp salad. We had a party of 17, all family, and our server was great and very efficient. If you want a romantic atmosphere, this isn’t the place. As I said, it’s a locals place. Highly recommended.

Went here for the first time today and it left a lot to be desired. As previous posters mentioned, the bar tender and waitress were not friendly at all, and seemed annoyed when we asked any question about the menu (menu has no descriptions whatsoever). The bar tender even threw our check across the bar to us and ran off which was very rude. The food was pretty terrible, between it being cold and our sub having 2 slices of lunch meat. See picture attached. If we had received better, friendly service, then we might have given it a second chance. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Went here for the first time this past weekend. Sat in the bar area, as the dining area was full. Waitress was good. Pleasant. Food was okay. My biggest issue was that they allow dogs in this restaurant. Where food is prepared and served. Man came in with his tiny dog off leash. It immediately ran to my table and started licking my legs and feet, gross! He half heartedly apologized. He sat at the table in front of us. Proceeded to sit the filthy dog on the chair next to him. The dog drank out of his glass and was served food on the same plate and bowl used to serve other patrons. He hand fed it food from his plate and out of his mouth. The waitress pet the dog and then SERVED FOOD to other people without washing her hands. Our entire experience was ruined, as this is the most foul thing I have ever witnessed in a restaurant. The amount of health department codes that were broken in our short time there is obscene. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Winfield Inn is a great locally owned bar and restaurant with AMAZING food, staff, and owners! I have never had an issue! My family loves the crab fries! My husband and I love the burgers! I am also a fan of the MD Crab Soup and their grilled chicken salad! I promise you won’t be disappointed with anything The Winfield Inn!!

Went for mother’s day dinner. Poor waitress/server Morgan was hammered. She did an outstanding job! We’re coming back. Crab pretzel was good. Meatloaf was like homemade. Sweat tea was just like a little North Carolina in every glass!
