The website says that this place is open on Saturdays so we walked over during the hours on a non holiday and the website said it would open for dinner at 4:30 and it was indeed not open. We called the base operator and they could not find a contact number and was not sure it was even a place. It said it opens at 4:30 on the website so we waited until about 4:45 and even though it appeared to have lights on in the entry way the parking lot was basically desolate and nobody came to unlock the doors. When trying to call the number after looking the restaurant up and calling that number it said the number was out of service. When we asked a local at one of the closest gas stations walking distance nearby she replied with “I have lived here for three years and have never heard of it”. I’m not sure if this is a seasonal place but the website says it is open two days a week on Fridays and Saturdays. I can say from arriving with a family ready to eat dinner on a Saturday that it was not open. Maybe this was a “once was” type of place. Maybe all the workers decided not to show up today? There is no way to know for now. I am giving it one star on account of not placing a notice on the website or on the front door of the establishment that it was not going to be open on the day the website said it would be. That was misleading for a family who walked there to then find out it was not open.

Great alternative for airman with a meal card. Food here is pretty good. It is a bar as well that hosts different events. Be on the lookout for all the things they have going on here. You won’t be disappointed.

Can get slower when DFAC is open, but prime place to hang out on TDY with teammates for sure. Kareoke on Fridays, supposedly, but AMAZING brisket fries! BBQ sauce and delicious fatty meats make the fresh cooked fries the best pre drink meal to be had. Highly recommend stopping by for the fries alone.
