I’ve been here a couple of times because grandchild’s family swore Wings had the best Chinese food. I found nothing special about the food. I appreciate that food is not salty. However, the seasonings and Chinese flavors are too bland for me. I prefer robust scents and flavors especially of the vegetables. Also, more vegetables and less gravy would be appreciated. They parking lot is clean as is the restaurant. This is a carry out only location. The order-taker/cashier was patient and knowledgeable.

Food was literally inedible. Ordered sweet & sour shrimp and an order of sweet & sour chicken both arrived looking gelatinous and just absolutely disgusting. The shrimp were so hard and chewy I did not even recognize them as shrimp. I have never had shrimp so over cooked in my life. The crab Rangoon had zero flavor, same with the pot stickers which were completely doughy. Anything fried I ordered the breading fell right off. Just so many rudementary cooking mistakes made let alone Chinese food mistakes. When I say the food was truly disgusting I don’t mean just unsatisfactory…I mean just absolutely inedible and make you sick disgusting.

I used to live in this neighborhood 20 years ago and it was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. And 20 years later I would say the same thing. I felt so lucky to be living so close to this place. Recently it just became accessible to me again and I finally went back and as far as I’m concerned they’re just as good as ever. Mongolian beef and cashew chicken are my favorites but so far everything has always been really good from here. I love these guys and they’ve always been friendly and easy to order from they’re very well organized and very on it as far as getting your order right. I can’t tell you how much it means to me that they’re still around.

Place is pretty bad the fried rice has no flavor despite it swimming in grease.. Really the only thing I get now is broccoli beef and white rice.. Its decent. egg rolls are ight. I hope they improve as they are the nearest chinese joint

I love Wings Chinese food! Always good quality food & good prices. Their egg rolls are the best! I secretly love white rice, and I hate getting dry hard white rice; their white rice is always fluffy and perfectly hydrated. You can tell that they keep their recipe consistent. Highly recommend!

I moved out of Cicero about nine years ago but Wings is my go-to restaurant when I’m in the area. They provide good food for a decent price. The decor in the dining room is way outdated and it has a funky smell too. Due to this, my family typically orders to go.
