Great experience (and food)! Traveling through Lincoln, MO, my husband and I decided to stop at Winkler’s for lunch. Not realizing (until reading the hours on the door) that they closed at 2:00 p.m., we entered at 1:45 and asked if we could get takeouts. After speaking with the cook, the friendly server offered a barbecue lunch consisting of a sandwich w/fries, mixed green salad, baked beans, vegetable soup and carrot cake for a very reasonable price! Everything was delicious and plentiful! Thanks to the server and cook for their hospitality and great food,

Just to let you know….i am the granddaughter of the owners to this restaurant…they don’t even serve martini’s…and dont have a poker tournament…i think you are talking about the the BAR across the street. My restaurant has awesome food….especially grandma’s HOMEMADE biscuits and gravy….id like to see any restaurant around that town try to top them….Papa Joes taste like rubber with package gravy…and the new McCain restuarant is itybity….grandma has been cooking there since i was two…and i am now 20…so yall do the math…don’t take someones word that hasn’t even been to the right restaurant…Thanks…and everyone is welcome at Winklers…tell them Sam sent you!!!!

We stopped in to eat and sat there for 15 minutes after the waitress said she would be right back and we never saw anyone again. There were only two other tables besides us. Needless to say, we have never gone back. I had to put a rating on the food because the website wouldnt let me publish w/o it but we did not eat.
