Went for the first time today after seeing a favorable review on TikTok. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the same experience as the reviewer. This is what was left after I ate. The food was most likely old. Ribs, pulled pork edges, and most of the potato were hard. I am very disappointed.

My husband got a sliced beef sandwich for $11 that literally had 2-3 slices of meat and it was mostly fat. On top of that, the bread was molded. When we called to let them know there was no apology. All they said was “you can bring it back up here with your receipt and we’ll remake it.” Why? So you can make another sandwich using bread from the same batch the moldy bun came from? So we can get another 2 slices of fat? No thanks!

The absolutely best banana pudding. I am normally not a huge fan, but this is not a mix and is made fresh by mom when you order, and is worth the trip. I would like to try their other deserts l. Smells like they use Mesquite wood for The meats. The portions aren’t huge, but the meats were all good and everything tasted great.

I paid for a slice beef sandwich, which was luke warm, had three slices of beef, two of those slices were fatty, and to top that off, my bottom bun was molded. Molded to the point where the container was stained from the bread!! I was told the only way to make it right was to bring the food with the receipt. Needless to say I will no longer support… 6 year customer!!

Will not eat there again. Went for family gathering. My food I got was a baked potatoes with ribs and beef. My was cooked so soft I could have made mashed potatoes out of it. My ribs were tasted like they where dropped on the charcoal then put back on the fire. Just wasn’t happy with my food. They must have served me the last of the ribs from that rack. But I can say that peach lemonade was the bomb. Banana pudding was not homemade it was instant pudding.

I’m really disappointed in the last few times I orders food there. I ordered a 2 meat plate with beans and potato salad, my 2 meats, chicken and ribs, when I got home to eat, the ribs were so hard and dry same as the chicken. The food was cold, it’s like the food being sitting out for a long time.

This was some of the best Barbeque I have had. The brisket was wonderful as it was moist and tender with a good bark. Barbeque sauce is definitely optional for their meats. Their greens were wonelderfully seasoned and delicious. Will be back and will suggest to everyone in the area.

Exercise with Essence
Absolutely Loved It! The meats and sides were well seasoned. I really loved the baked beans and pulled pork! It was all good! I worked for restaurants and my chef at NYLO Dallas told me if you don’t see salt and pepper on the table, you know the food is seasoned right! And Winners reminded me of that! I definitely will be back and recommend it as a go to spot! Think they recently add dessert from The Pie Guy and I loved the Chess and Lemon!
