We stopped at Winn’s based on a recommendation of a friend. They said it is their go to spot in Indianola. The visit did not disappoint. There was a wide variety of American food on the menu. I believe it was Jamie that took care of our group of 6 and she did a fantastic job. Three of our group decided to have Gyros and fries, one had a chef salad & baked potato, another had a tenderloin & fries, and I went with the special that day, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, and texas toast. No complaints from anyone in our group, the food and service ice were very good. A neighboring table had a pizza that looked fabulous as well. We definitely will make another stop to eat at Winn’s!!

Was a great dinner with the family. It has a great hometown on the square feel, with all the pictures on the wall to prove it. Plus the food is pretty darn good if I say so myself. We ate their pizza with their salad bar. However, they have plenty to choose from. So if down in south Iowa, Indianola to be exact make sure to make lunch or dinner plans on the square at Winn’s!!

The food was amazing, for the price! The people who work there are friendly and polite. I ordered take out, so we did not stay at the location for long, but the salad bar looked freshly stocked and maintained well. The staff remembered us when we came back the next day to get more food.
