Today’s experience at Winslow Diner was not so great. I gave this review 3 stars because the waitress was very nice and pleasant. My daughter and I ordered the hungry person’s meal with pancakes it was the pancakes that made the meal less than desirable. I have never been to a diner or any place that serves pancakes as flat as the ones served to us today. I asked the waitress if the pancakes were normally this flat She informed us that they were not generally super fluffy and apologized for our displeasure and offered us the French toast. To be honest, if I’d wanted French Tia, I would have ordered it. Nonetheless, she brought us French toast which left something to be desired as well ( a quarter of them was CAKED in cinnamon but edible at least it was edible. When we paid, we were asked about our experience. I told her our waitress was great but the food was not. I told her that the pancakes were really flat ( they should call them crepes), she immediately asked were we given the french toast as substitute. I told her yes, but that’s not what we came for which ultimately I paid for something that I did originally come for or ask for. The woman had the audacity to say, if I didn’t like the pancakes, try something else next time. Well guess what, there Will absolutely not be a next time.

Let me start by saying I did not have breakfast, so that could be amazing, but I will never know. The staff were very friendly and attentive, but omg the food was horribly mediocre. Everything tasted just a little bit off…like it had been sitting in the back of the freezer for a bit too long. The best part of our entire meal was the fried sides. Fries, onion rings, and tots were great, just stay away from the cheese sauce! The wings were also soggy and wrinkled like they just got out of the bathtub and the lettuce was yellow and flavorless.

Grits are cooked to perfection. Eggs are fluffy not running or hard. The sausages are soooo good. My only problem. They are soooooo stingy with the grits lol. I need more grits…Philly

Hadnt been here in about 15 years. Food and service are both good. Our server was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and the quality of the ingredients used. Glad to see they survived the pandemic and still providing good food and service

So, I ordered via DoorDash. I was very impressed. Asked for my bacon well done (I love it crunchy) and they did it perfectly. The eggs were really good and the home fries were excellent. I will definately be back for a dine in this time around. Excellent job, everyone!!
