Waited approximately 35 minutes to be seated, waited another 35 minutes to order, Waited another 35 to be served. Two tables walked out during all this. Owner and 2 managers there, but not there. Mac and cheese made with commodity pasta, food when finally served, without utensils, oh and etc., etc. Understaffed, no bus boys and lack of foresight. Hopefully the “front of house” will get organized quickly.

The portions were great. Was worried due to the atmosphere that we would be largely overpaying for the food based on the menu prices but we were pleasantly surprised to see how much food there was per entree and the catfish was probably the best I’ve ever had. The Cobb salad was enormous. I had to actually dig to find the romaine because it was so full of everything else. Super impressed. Will be back.

Before I start, I want to say the food here is delicious. I’ve gotten in the Rockwood store on opening day a great pizza and some mighty fine jalapeño poppers as a carry out. This was about 4PM and some servers, about 4 of them, were just kinda hanging out waiting for something to happen.

We arrived at 7:30, thinking they closed at 9 per the times listed online, however they had temporary hours listed on the door that indicated they closed at 8. We asked if it was too late to get a table, and were told it was just fine. We sit down and order… and wait. And wait. And wait. During this time I had to go get a waitress to take my drink order twice. The coke that was ordered was completely flat and tasted as if it came out of a bottle. Finally after waiting almost an hour we tell the waitress we can’t stay any longer. Miraculously our food arrives with the waitress telling us rudely “the kitchen apologizes they couldn’t get the food out fast enough for you.” Mind you, during the hour we were there, not one person checked on us, we had to go ask for refills and there was not one apology about the wait or lack of service. And again, we had no problem going somewhere else but they continued to seat people after we arrived. Let’s get to the food. To our dismay the pizza was completely undercooked (I’m guessing they yanked it out of the oven when they heard we were leaving), the chicken tenders were soggy, old, tough pieces of meat that had a funny taste, the steak fries had rotten parts. At this point we tell the waitress we’re not going to eat the food and to bring us a check for the two coffees we had. She says she’ll be right back and… we wait another fifteen minutes before finally going up to the counter to cash out. They had no problem charging us for the drinks – non alcoholic – after the atrocious experience we had. We never received an apology, nothing, just a bill. Im not sure if it was an off night but our experience was the wait staff and kitchen do not care about the customers and if you want to be treated like a burden this is the place for you!

So before I write this review I will be referring to there Rockwood location and not the spring city one. First off please do not eat there!!!!!! Me and my wife both spotted cockroaches coming out of the kitchen and we had hair gray hairs in our food. We both had a salad and split a king Supreme pizza and the pizza was undercooked and just falling apart when we tried picking up a slice ( it was bad) and the food is way to overpriced for such Mediocre food. We didn’t enjoy anything. The service or the food so in short if you’re in the rockwood area just go to the pizza station or little Caesars you’ll get better pizza way cheaper and quicker with less Attitude.

We arrived at 7:15 pm on a Thursday night. My husband ordered the catfish special and I ordered a flat iron steak. It took forever. It was almost 8 pm before we had food. My husband said his onion rings were very tasty….. all 5 of them. One piece of his catfish was not completely cooked. I ordered my steak medium well. It was almost medium rare. It took forever to tell my waitress because she didn’t come back. Someone from the kitchen came out, looked, and said she would make me a new steak. While waiting I ate my baked potato, which was good. However, I couldn’t eat my Mac and cheese. It was tasteless and looked like the store brand from a box. They could at least spring for the elbow macaroni mixes. After 20 minutes I finally got a new steak. It was worse than the first one. Blood came out. My other issues included they no longer have any alcohol, only beer. And they ran the vacuum at around 8:15 and they don’t close till 9. Customers do not want to watch you vacuum while they are eating.

We stopped going because they take so long and it’s pricey. Decided to get take out tonight. My husband picked up our order of a loaded Philly cheese steak and fries and I ordered a 9″ pepperoni, extra pepperoni pizza. The Philly cheese steak was all bun. Hardly any steak. The pizza, from what I hear is suppose to be good. Let’s just say, I’ll stick with Papa John’s. So I think we are done giving it another try.

I went there about one and a half years ago and was really bad service and food was cold when it arrived at the table after waiting more than an hour. We decided to give them another chance and service was really bad again they are very slow and not very friendly. We ordered two side salads and two pizzas one of the king’s special and a bacon and black olives we got the salads in about 15 minutes not to bad but she brought 3 I reminded he we ordered 2 then it took nearly an hour to get the pizzas and they were at best warm. When we were done I let her know we we’re ready for our check and a box it took her more than 10 minutes to bring it. We won’t be returning again.

Service was great. Ribs were on special so I got them. They were okay tasting, baked potato & macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese like cheap Mac out of the box. The potato was good. But something out of the meal was not right. 30 minutes after I the meal & I got sick.
