My first time here and we really enjoyed the food. We had oxtail with rice/ peas, sweet plantains and cabbage. It was delicious. The portion was very generous too. From one plate we shared and there was still leftovers to take home.

If you’re looking for a Jamaican restaurant that COMMANDS THE POWER OF THE ISLAND IN FLAVOR than Winston’s in Allentown is the place to go! The platters are sensational and you get an incredible amount of food!

They need to give more meat and proportion to the sides. They’re macaronis really good, but they should put a little more of it in the platter. You just wanna make sure you’re getting your moneys worth because platters are about 15 apiece, At Least.

My husband and I have lived in the Lehigh valley since 2019 and to this day we haven’t come across an authentic Jamaican restaurant that tops Winston’s

Def was with waiting until today when they opened. Oxtail platter was delicious. Mac n Cheese was pretty good too. He even put a good amount of that oxtail heavy on the rice without me asking him too. Yasssss!!! Thank you to my sis and my niece for the suggestion! Wasn’t pricey either. Very fresh. Winston, the owner was real cool. Told him I was from Brooklyn, NY and he stated that I would be “Visiting my sister more when the food hit my belly!” LOL…I think I just might do that.

The unprofessionalism is what caused me to never be a customer for this place. I called to place an order for the FIRST time, planning to give about $80 of my money, for someone to pick up the phone and say, “na you gotta come in” with attitude, just for me to place an order. Not sure why an HOUR before you close you couldn’t just take my order. But don’t you worry! I’ll never come here. I called a different place and they were so nice and welcomed me with opened arms when I got there. I’ve been working in customer service for 10+ year’s and know the VALUE of customer’s. Without customer’s, you have no business. I’ll be telling my friends and family to not support this business.

First time having Winston’s this past weekend 3/13/2021 and the food was delicious . My sister catered and the taste was as great as the smells from the kitchen. We will definitely order again soon.

My 1st time eating at Winston’s was incredible! The establishment is very clean and the food was prepared hot and in an timely manner! I got the Jerk Chicken and Brown rice and peas, sweet fried plantains and a Tropical Rhythms Sorrel Ginger! My dinner was rich and fulfilling! I also got to meet the Owner Mr. Winston and I had a great enlightening conversation with him! I highly recommend you check them out the next time you’re craving some Jamaican food!

I happened to be riding by and stopped there. Waste of my money. I was already skeptical cause of the amount of non Jamaicans(I’m Jamaican) and non blacks in there buying food. I asked for a curry shrimp. I wished the woman just said sorry we don’t have that right now because a woman in the back really came out with a plastic container with what looked like leftover shrimp. I have no idea how long that been there. I have no idea how long that been there. I also ordered oxtail. Oxtail wasn’t spicy at all and just tasted bland. Curry shrimp was even worse. Won’t be back.
