First time and not going back anytime soon. We were seated immediately on a Monday night. Our waitress was really attentive. The appetizers were ok, nachos and raw oysters. Entrees were not good. Catfish was fried extremely hard. Collard greens were too salty and had an overall bad taste. Grits was the best part of my meal. As for the oyster sampler, presentation was the best thing about it. Best thing overall was my drink and the waitress. The bread pudding was good.

Very good food!! We were one of the last people to come in on Friday night but it didn’t seem like it affected anyone! Everyone was very nice! Our server was super sweet and attentive! We got oysters which were so good! The fried crab claws are delicious!

Where to start where to start…. well tonight my bf surprised me by taking me to wintzell’s after I’ve been talking about wanting to go there none stop. When we arrived we recieved a nice cheerful greeting. We checked in and was advised there was a 10-15mins wait (no problem at allllll) so we sat down and checked out the menu…I WANTED EVERYTHING!!! After about 10mins of waiting i noticed there were people eating at the bar area and there were open seats. We decided to sit at the bar as we aren’t picky. When we sat down we were greeted with a big smile by a gentleman by the name GREGORY. Gregory was the only person running the grill and taking order…boy o boy it was crazy busy and customers were…ummm…not all that respectful. 1 man at the bar was eating with his wife and kept complaining that the tv wasn’t on TNT….dude pay attention to your wife or get your food togo!!! Lol jerk….then another guy was complaining that his oysters were salty…..i gave him the WTH FACE lol bruhhhh oysters come from the ocean WHAT DO YOU EXPECT!!!! lol but guess what… Gregory was respectful the whole time and kept that smile on his face!!!…. o snap, let me get back to the food hahhah….we started off with 1/2 dozen raw oysters…they were nice, big and cold #LOVE. I ordered 1doz chargrilled oysters..they were so freakin good I know im gonna dream about it tonight hahha (skinny fat girl moment) my boyfriend ordered the half and half and chose fried oysters and shrimp along with fried okra and cheese grits….i know he loved it cause he didnt say 1 thing nor look up from his plate til he was done hahhaha. WINTZELL’S YOU HAVE 2 NEW CUSTOMERS THAT YOU WILL PROBABLY SEE EVERY WEEK 🙂 GREGORY THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! YOU DID AN AWSOME JOB

I had at the bottom spinach Rockefeller at the bottom picture at the top is some more oysters and the drink is a mixed drink this place is wonderful place to get great oysters great service great food delicious taste I loved it I want to go back again

I go at least once a month. I stop going weekly after they Burned my fingers really bad and refused to compensate me for them pain…my business suffered as well . Then sold or changed ownership in order to avoid me. ..they claimed they comp my meal. They should have after they cooked my hand. Shame on them….
